Yes. For solo bungee jumps, the maximum participant weight is 120kg (18.9 stone). Waist harnesses can accommodate waist sizes from 40cm (15.7 inches) to 125cm (49.2 inches).

Can anyone take part? Are there health or age restrictions?

Participants must be in good health to take part. You must not jump if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. If you have high blood pressure, a heart condition, dizziness, epilepsy, asthma, or any injury affecting your neck, back, spine, legs, or eyes — or if you are taking prescribed medication — you must consult a medical professional beforehand and may be required to sign a non-standard waiver. There is no upper age limit, but participants over 50 must seek medical advice prior to taking part and will be asked to confirm they understand the potential risks due to age-related health factors.For a standard bungee jumps, participants must be 14 or older. Those aged 14–16 need a parent or guardian’s permission and signature.

What should I wear on the day?

Dress for the weather in comfortable, casual clothing. Avoid wearing skirts or dresses. Secure footwear is required — trainers or similar shoes are best. Boots or bulky footwear may need to be removed. Glasses and hard contact lenses must also be removed for the jump, though soft contact lenses can be worn.

What if I decide not to jump at the top?

Unfortunately, refunds are not available if you choose not to jump. Once you've reached the jump platform, you've already taken up a pre-booked place and gone through a thorough, resource-heavy preparation process.

Can friends or family come to watch?

Spectators are welcome at most events, and there’s no charge to attend.

Could weather affect the experience?

Yes — high winds or thunderstorms can result in event delays or cancellations. While we always aim to proceed as planned, safety comes first. Please check for live updates or call ahead on the day of your booking before setting off.

How easy is it to get to Tatton Park?

Tatton Park is located just a few minutes from Junction 7 of the M56 and Junction 19 of the M6, making it easy to reach by car. It’s well-signposted and has paid parking. The closest train station is Knutsford, just over a mile away – local taxis are available from there.

How safe is bungee jumping and what safety systems are in place?

Safety is a top priority. Each participant is secured using both an ankle and a waist harness, with separate attachment points to the jump station for added security. All participants are checked by five separate crew members before jumping, and every step is explained to ensure you're confident before the jump. All equipment is professionally tested and certified, and staff receive regular training and assessments to maintain high safety standards.

What insurance do you have?

The operation holds full public liability insurance, covering legal responsibility in the unlikely event of negligence. However, participants are advised to arrange their own personal insurance to cover participation in adventure activities.

Do you cater for group bookings?

Yes, large group bookings are welcome — including stag and hen parties, charity events, and corporate teams.

What happens after I book my bungee jump?

Once your booking is confirmed, the centre will send you a booking confirmation email. This email will contain your exact jump time and all relevant details for your experience. Additionally, you’ll receive an event pack attached, which will include helpful information such as what to bring, safety guidelines, and answers to common questions. Make sure to check your inbox (and spam folder) to ensure you have all the information needed before your jump.

What to Expect

Upon arrival, you’ll check in with the team before going through a full safety briefing. You’ll be fitted with a harness and double-checked by the instructors before stepping into the cage. As you're lifted to the full 300ft by crane, you’ll get uninterrupted views across the Tatton Park estate – including its famous deer park, landscaped gardens, and the large open lake that you'll be jumping above.

At the top, there's a short moment of calm before the countdown. Then it's time to jump. The freefall lasts around four seconds – a long drop before the cord kicks in and fires you skywards. You’ll bounce a few times before being lowered gently back down. The build-up, the jump itself, and the feeling after all combine into a real sense of achievement.
