We had a great time paddleboarding and will definitely be back again!

A guided stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) adventure through Scotland's West Coast wilderness awaits you. Designed for intermediate paddlers, this trip takes you on a self-propelled journey through the remote beauty of Knoydart, offering a unique chance to connect with nature and explore its hidden corners. Along the way, you’ll paddle across stunning lochs, spot abundant wildlife, and experience the challenges and rewards of an expedition-style journey.
Day 1
We’ll meet at 10:00 am in Mallaig or 9:00 am in Fort William, depending on your travel arrangements. After introductions and a kit check, we’ll head to the launch site to start our first paddle on Loch Morar. The first day will be a leisurely paddle, allowing everyone to get comfortable with their boards and take in the incredible surroundings. By late afternoon, we’ll set up camp at our designated site, enjoy a hot meal, and relax together, sharing the excitement of the journey ahead.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll pack up camp and head off for a full day of paddling. Today’s route takes us across Loch Morar towards Loch Nevis. It’s a bit of a challenge, but with plenty of breaks and time to admire the beauty around us, it’s manageable. We’ll stop for lunch by the water, taking in the quiet surroundings. By late afternoon, we’ll set up camp for the night and enjoy a well-earned meal. There’s time to relax, reflect, and bond over the day’s adventure.
Day 3
The day begins with breakfast and a short paddle towards Inverie, one of the most remote villages in Britain. Along the way, we’ll encounter spectacular mountain views and have the chance to spot local wildlife. We’ll paddle for several hours, taking breaks to rest and enjoy the scenery. When we arrive in Inverie, we’ll have some free time to explore the village before gathering for a farewell meal at the local pub (at your own cost). It’s a great opportunity to reflect on our journey and share memories with the group.
Day 4
After a final breakfast, we’ll paddle a short distance to the pier in Inverie. From here, we’ll board the MV Western Isles ferry for an hour-long ride back to Mallaig. The ferry ride offers the perfect chance to relax, take in the views, and reflect on the incredible adventure. Once we arrive back in Mallaig, we’ll say our goodbyes and head off on our separate journeys, with memories of an unforgettable experience on Scotland’s West Coast.
