Join us for 2-days on the river to improve your confidence and skills in whitewater. Our experienced coaches are here to elevate your paddling abilities, refining your techniques and strategies for navigating Grade 3 whitewater.
Across two dynamic days, our Intermediate Whitewater Skills course navigates from refining Grade 2/2-3 techniques on the classic Lune section in Sedbergh to mastering Grade 3 rapids along the challenging Tees River. Day 1 focuses on honing foundational skills and river reading, while Day 2 amplifies these skills for Grade 3 waters, infusing style and finesse into your paddling.
Be prepared for some travel as we seek the best river conditions each day. For instance, our North England-based course might lead us from the classic Lune section in Sedbergh on day 1 to the Tees on day 2, ensuring optimal water levels for an unparalleled experience.
While the course may require some travel, expect stunning river settings across the UK. We are based in the Midlands and will travel a reasonable distance.
Before booking our Intermediate Whitewater Skills course, participants should possess some whitewater experience, ideally with familiarity in navigating Grade 2 rapids. Competency in controlling a whitewater kayak, understanding paddling techniques, and being comfortable on moving water is essential.
