Depart Nairobi and travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. After lunch, enjoy your first afternoon game drive in one of Africa's most famous wildlife reserves, renowned for the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal).

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. An optional sunrise hot air balloon safari is available at an additional cost.

After breakfast, fly to Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the Kogatende region, famous for its abundant wildlife and seasonal migration river crossings.

Spend the day exploring the northern Serengeti around the Mara River. Depending on the season, witness dramatic wildebeest river crossings while searching for crocodiles, lions, leopards, cheetahs and large herds of plains game.

Travel through the iconic plains of the central Serengeti, including the Seronera region, often referred to as "Big Cat Country". Enjoy a full day of game viewing with excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and more.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way before arriving at the crater rim or nearby Karatu for your overnight stay.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of exceptional wildlife viewing. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool.

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, groundwater forests and diverse birdlife, the park offers a completely different safari experience before continuing to Arusha for the evening.

Cross into Kenya and continue to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive beneath the towering backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro while searching for the park's famous elephant herds, along with zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and predators.

Enjoy a final morning in Amboseli with views of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to Nairobi. Drop-off is available at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your East African safari.
