TDI SF2 eCCR 60m Mixed Gas Diver is the advanced closed-circuit rebreather qualification on the rEvo SF2 unit for deeper mixed-gas decompression diving. You plan trimix or helitrox diluent profiles, manage multiple stage cylinders and hold trim at deco stops while monitoring cells on dives deeper than forty metres toward a sixty-metre training maximum.
TDI requires six dives and three hundred sixty minutes on unit, including five mixed-gas dives deeper than forty metres. You also need fifty logged CCR hours on the SF2 and prior CCR air diluent deco or helitrox deco certification. This is not the course you book because a wreck looks interesting on Instagram.
Mixed-gas CCR is quiet, cold and unforgiving. Bailout maths errors show at the worst moment. Your instructor drills failures until your responses are dull, which is the point. Arrive with recent SF2 deco hours, not a pile of holiday cards and thin logs.
TDI SF2 60m Mixed Gas Diver is assessed through deep mixed-gas decompression dives and skills on the unit. Your instructor signs off when all dive objectives and performance requirements are met.

Find activitiesIt is TDI's advanced mixed-gas closed-circuit rebreather qualification on the rEvo SF2 unit for deep staged decompression diving to sixty metres. Training includes five mixed-gas dives deeper than forty metres.
It is unit-specific and depth-limited to certification rules. It does not replace expedition trimix training beyond TDI scope.
CCR air diluent deco or SF2 helitrox deco on the same unit, fifty logged CCR hours on the SF2, age eighteen plus, and recent deep CCR experience your instructor accepts.
Leave a comment when you book with your full SF2 card stack and hour log. Centres screen candidates before accepting deep mixed-gas places.
TDI requires six dives and three hundred sixty minutes on unit, including five mixed-gas dives deeper than forty metres.
Weather, gas supply or student pace may extend the programme beyond those minima.
TDI expects substantial SF2 time before deep mixed gas so checklist habits, cell awareness and bailout discipline are automatic before depth adds task loading.
Cards without hours behind them are how expensive incidents start.
Deep gas theory and planning are taught in classroom and briefings. Assessment is primarily practical deep mixed-gas dives on the SF2.
Your instructor reviews each run schedule before you descend. Weak planning stops the dive before it starts.
Trimix or helitrox diluent within TDI mixed-gas limits plus matched bailout and deco stages as your centre teaches. Exact blends depend on site and policy.
Personal analysis of every cylinder is non-negotiable on this course.
Forty-five metre helitrox covers moderate-depth helitrox deco. Sixty metre mixed gas adds deeper profiles, heavier stage management and trimix-style planning toward the sixty-metre training ceiling.
Both require SF2-specific training. Neither substitutes for the other.
Among the most task-loaded recreational-technical courses. Long deco, cold, multiple stages and cell monitoring at depth leave little attention for sightseeing.
Arrive fit, rested and current. Deep mixed gas after a diving break is a deferral waiting to happen.
Exposure protection rated for long deco, backup mask, stage rigging, personal tools and any SF2 components your centre approves. Multiple stages arranged locally.
Confirm harness compatibility with multiple stages before booking remote sites.
Expedition-level training, exploration projects and agency-specific advanced pathways beyond standard SF2 mixed gas. Many divers pause to log deep hours rather than chase the next card immediately.
Depth without repetition breeds confidence that outruns skill.
adventuro lists TDI centres with SF2 units, deep site access and mixed-gas blending offering this course. Compare gas fees, minimum hour policies and bailout requirements.
