The course runs four days at windsurf-focused centres. You need fifty logged hours as a Start Windsurfing Instructor, intermediate planing and advanced personal sailing certificates with waterstart and carve gybe clinics, plus first aid, Powerboat Level 2 and Safe and Fun.
Assessment is continuous through teaching practice and personal sailing checks. Prepare for planing demos in real breeze while explaining harness lines to a student still finding their feet on a wide board.
