We've been guiding horse and camel rides from riverside stables in the village of Diabat, just outside Essaouira, since 2006. Sophie looks after bookings in French and English, and Najib grew up on this coast. Together with a small guide team they know the deserted beaches, dunes, and eucalyptus forest around the medina.
Every outing stays a private group, so the pace can match first-time riders and people who already sit a horse well. Helmets are ready at the yard, mounts are chosen for how you ride, and we can collect you from a hotel in or near the medina before the ride and drop you back afterwards.
