Porto sits on steep granite streets between the Douro and the Atlantic. An e-bike makes that terrain straightforward, whether you want a guided loop through the old town, Gaia, and Foz, or a hire bike to cover the same ground at your own pace. Sessions start from Praça da Batalha 120, a short walk from São Bento station. Groups stay at ten people or fewer, and the bike, helmet, and assistance are included.
Guided rides last about three hours and include a snack stop, with commentary in English, French, Spanish, or Portuguese. Hire is the better fit if you already know the city and want a full day on two wheels. Riders need to be at least 1.60 m tall so they can handle the bikes safely. Meet at the shop on Praça da Batalha, then follow the river, the bridges, and the coast.
