You'll join a local molecular biologist and natural-heritage interpreter on the oak-covered slopes of Cabezabellosa, between the Jerte and Ambroz valleys in Sierra de Gredos. Days here are unhurried forest-bathing walks: you'll slow down among granite and moss, listen, and take in the mountain through your senses. We share the same woods on horseback, from a bird hide, through spring meadows and wild fruit, up to the ridge, and under the night sky.
Your guide grew up in this village, is an equestrian route guide, and has been welcoming visitors in English and Spanish for more than fifteen years. Sessions stay personal, with time to ask questions and move at a pace that suits your group. If you're staying nearby, we can collect you from lodging within about 35 kilometres.
