This bushcraft school was founded in 2011 and has grown into a well-established provider of outdoor skills training, supported by a dedicated team of instructors. Accredited by the Institute for Outdoor Learning and vetted by local authorities, the centre offers a wide range of courses, from 1-day foraging, carving and tracking sessions to multi-day bushcraft and ancestral skills programmes, including formal qualifications.
Courses are kept deliberately small to ensure a personal experience, delivered in an ancient woodland within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to diverse wildlife and native trees. Facilities are designed to keep participants comfortable, with shelter, a wood stove, composting toilet and high-quality meals cooked from scratch over the fire.
The focus is on creating a friendly, professional and relaxed learning environment, where people can connect with nature, build skills and enjoy time in the woods.
