The Beni is Bolivia's Amazon lowland — a vast, watery world of rainforest and seasonally flooded pampas, reached from the jungle town of Rurrenabaque. Together with neighbouring Madidi National Park it offers some of the richest and most accessible wildlife-watching anywhere in the Amazon basin.
