Do I need to be able to swim?

Yes. You are on open water in a buoyancy aid, so you should be a confident swimmer.

Yes, ridden within your ability with a buoyancy aid and a briefing. Guided tours keep you in suitable areas.

Jet Skiing a Dominican Republic

A jet ski is about the most immediate fun you can have on the water. Twist the throttle and you are off, skipping over the surface, carving turns and bouncing through your own wake. It takes minutes to get the hang of and a lot longer to stop grinning.

No experience is needed for a supervised session or guided safari, where an instructor briefs you and leads the way. It is a reliable crowd-pleaser, equally good for a thrill-seeking blast or a more scenic tour along the coast.

The operators on adventuro run jet ski sessions and guided tours with the craft and safety gear provided. Hold on tight, and watch out for your own wake.
