Take in the beauty of Mallorca’s coastline from the unique vantage point of a pedal-powered Waterbike. With no engine noise or fuel, it’s a relaxed, eco-friendly way to cruise across the clear waters of Alcudia Bay — whether you’re with friends, on a solo ride, or sharing it with family.
Once you arrive at the marina, our team will greet you and get you set up with your Waterbike and life jacket. Before setting off, you'll receive a short, clear briefing explaining how to operate the Waterbike safely. These pedal-powered craft are simple to control, extremely stable, and require no previous experience. After the quick introduction, you’re free to take to the water — no guides, no engines, just you and the sea.
You can choose how long you’d like to explore, from short half-hour trips to full-day hires. The longer the session, the more of Alcudia Bay you’ll get to see. Glide past anchored boats, take in the surrounding landscape from the water, or simply pedal at a relaxed pace while enjoying the peace. Waterbikes are perfect for combining light exercise with an easy-going outing on the Mediterranean. You’ll have plenty of space to explore the coast while keeping the experience as active or chilled as you like.
The meeting point is based at Paseo Marítimo #1, within Club Náutico Alcudiamar in Puerto de Alcudia. This lively marina is located on the northeast coast of Mallorca, in the heart of the Bay of Alcudia — one of the largest and most scenic bays on the island. The area is popular for its calm waters and wide-open views, ideal for beginners and families.
From here, you’ll be directly connected to a safe and expansive section of coastline perfect for Waterbike riding. With the marina's facilities close by and restaurants and shops just a short walk away, it’s an easy spot to access and a great starting point for a relaxed day by the sea.
You don’t need any prior water sports experience to enjoy this activity. The Waterbikes are designed for comfort and ease, and a short briefing will get you up to speed in minutes.
Participants should feel comfortable on the water and be able to pedal, but the effort required is similar to a casual bike ride. Children may ride accompanied by an adult.
The team prides itself on providing fun, accessible, and sustainable water activities for people of all levels. With a focus on safety and ease, every Waterbike hire includes a proper briefing and support to make sure you’re confident before heading off.
The bikes are top-quality, well maintained, and built to handle the calm waters of Alcudia Bay smoothly and securely. Whether you’re looking for a short break on the water or want to spend most of your day exploring the bay, this experience lets you enjoy the coast at your own pace — no noise, no fuel, just fresh air and freedom.
Yes, hotel pick-up is available for guests staying in the northern part of Mallorca. This includes Puerto Pollença, Alcudia, Port of Alcudia, Muro Beaches, and Can Picafort. Transport is available for groups of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people. This service is designed to make your experience more convenient, particularly if you’re staying nearby but not directly within walking distance of the port.
To arrange hotel pick up, please contact us via the adventuro chat.
You’ll have access to full on-site facilities, including changing rooms, toilets, and secure lockers for your belongings. This makes it easy to change in and out of your gear before and after your session, without needing to arrive already prepared. The facilities are kept clean and well-maintained for your comfort and convenience.
As part of the activity, all necessary safety and technical equipment is provided. This includes professional-grade nautical equipment, buoyancy vests, and insurance cover for both liability and accidents. The aim is to provide a safe, comfortable, and well-supported experience from start to finish, with everything you need available on-site.
If weather conditions on the day of your reservation prevent the activity from going ahead, there’s no need to worry. Your booking is flexible, and the team will work with you to reschedule for another available slot before the end of your holiday. This means you won’t miss out due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control.
Mallorca’s weather can change quickly, but safety is always the priority. If the forecast poses any risk or would negatively impact the quality of the session, the activity will be postponed. In most cases, an alternative day can be found, and you’ll be informed in plenty of time if there’s any need to rearrange.
The activity takes place in a designated area within the bay at Port d’Alcudia, which is known for its calm waters and scenic surroundings. There’s a clearly marked nautical channel that ensures a safe and organised area for watersports. This location allows for a safe and enjoyable experience regardless of your ability level, making it suitable for most participants.
The full address is Paseo Marítimo, 1, 07400 Port d’Alcudia, on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The port area is easy to access and well-equipped, with nearby cafes and facilities if you want to relax before or after your session. The calm conditions of the bay also make it an ideal location for first-time participants or those looking to build confidence on the water.
To get the most out of your session, it's recommended to come prepared with a few basic items. You’ll need a swimsuit, a cap or visor for sun protection, sunglasses, and sunscreen to help protect against the midday heat. A towel is also a good idea for drying off afterwards, especially if you’re planning to change at the on-site facilities.
For your feet, bring water shoes such as flip-flops, aqua booties or other non-slip footwear. This will help you move comfortably around the shore and equipment area, especially if surfaces are wet or uneven. Staying hydrated is also important, so bringing a water bottle is advisable, particularly on hotter days.
Not at all. Waterbikes are built for stability and simplicity, making them ideal for beginners or anyone who’s never tried a water-based activity before. You don’t need to be particularly fit or skilled — if you can ride a regular bicycle and feel comfortable on the water, you’ll pick it up quickly. A short briefing at the start will cover everything you need to know, including how to steer, stop, and stay safe.
Unlike paddleboards or kayaks, Waterbikes don’t require you to balance in the same way, which is why they’re often chosen by families and casual holidaymakers. The seat is adjustable, the platform is wide, and movement is smooth and quiet, making it a relaxed option for exploring at your own pace.
Yes, Waterbike rentals are popular with families looking for something different to do together on the water. While there's no specific age limit, younger children won’t be able to operate their own bike — but they can ride with an adult if the model allows tandem seating. Each person must wear a life jacket, and everyone gets a full safety briefing before heading out.
That said, it’s up to the supervising adult to decide if the conditions are suitable on the day, and whether their child is confident enough to take part. The water around Alcudia tends to be calm, especially near the marina, so it’s a gentle environment to try something new as a family.
