Experience relaxed coastal cruising aboard a well-equipped Bavaria 32 sailing yacht designed for comfortable weekends, sailing holidays and flexible trips on the water. Available as both a bareboat and skippered charter, this yacht is suited to couples, families and small groups looking to explore the Solent at their own pace.
Designed for comfortable coastal cruising, this Bavaria 32 offers a relaxed sailing experience with practical accommodation and an easy-to-manage layout suited to a wide range of experience levels. The light and airy saloon provides comfortable seating below deck, while the fully equipped galley and private cabins make the yacht suitable for overnight stays and longer cruising holidays.
Guests can enjoy flexible itineraries around the Solent including short sailing breaks, day sails, extended coastal cruising or introductory sailing experiences. Bareboat charter gives qualified skippers the freedom to plan their own routes and pace, while skippered options allow guests to enjoy a more relaxed experience with support available onboard when needed.
For those newer to sailing, skippered charters can also be used as confidence-building experiences or informal tuition trips, with opportunities to take part in sailing the yacht or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. Every charter includes a full handover along with useful local cruising information to help ensure a smooth start to the trip.
Charters operate throughout the Solent and surrounding south coast cruising areas, offering access to sheltered harbours, rivers, marinas and popular sailing destinations within one of the UK’s best-known boating regions. The Solent provides varied sailing conditions suited to both relaxed cruising and more active sailing itineraries.
Departure arrangements are generally based around the Hamble and Southampton area, although alternative arrangements may be possible depending on the charter duration and itinerary. Final departure details are confirmed during the booking process.
Bareboat charter requires a minimum of RYA Day Skipper or equivalent sailing qualification along with suitable recent experience operating similar yachts in coastal waters. Skippers should feel confident with navigation, tides and safe yacht handling.
No previous sailing experience is required for skippered charters. These options are suitable for beginners, families and anyone wanting additional support or a more relaxed sailing experience.
Charters are designed to provide flexible and approachable sailing experiences suited to a wide range of guests, from experienced sailors planning independent cruising trips to complete beginners looking to spend time on the water comfortably. The Bavaria 32 offers a practical balance of accommodation, sailing performance and ease of handling for Solent cruising.
Professional support, flexible charter options and tailored itineraries help create enjoyable experiences whether booking a short sailing break or a longer coastal holiday. Optional skippered support also allows guests to build confidence onboard at their own pace.
The yacht sleeps up to 6 guests with two private cabins and additional saloon berths available below deck.
This makes the yacht suitable for couples, families and small groups planning overnight or longer cruising trips around the Solent.
