Cruise Albania's Adriatic coast on a private yacht charter from Durres with your own skipper. Glide past hidden coves, anchor in clear water for swimming and enjoy panoramic sea views from deck, ideal for couples, families or small groups celebrating a special occasion without handling sails yourself. Four hours on the water gives you enough time for swimming, photos and relaxed celebration without committing an overnight sail or sharing deck space with strangers on a crowded tour boat.
Meet your skipper at Vollga public parking on Shetitorja Vollga in Durres and walk to the yacht for boarding and a safety briefing before leaving harbour along the Adriatic coast. Settle on deck as the vessel leaves the marina area and your skipper narrates landmarks while selecting a comfortable cruising speed for your group of up to ten guests.
The route follows the scenic shoreline with time to admire cliffs, hidden coves and open Adriatic horizons from comfortable seating without handling lines or helm yourself. When sea conditions allow, the skipper anchors in clear water at a sheltered spot for swimming, sunbathing on deck and photos with optional beverage or seafood snack packages if pre-ordered for birthdays or romantic outings.
Continue cruising with panoramic sea views before turning back towards Durres harbour and stepping ashore near Vollga parking after four hours on the water. Evening plans on the promenade remain easy after this afternoon charter, with your skipper handling navigation and safety throughout from boarding to the final return leg.
Durres combines ancient port heritage with long beaches and quick access from Tirana, making a yacht afternoon easy to slot into a city or coast holiday without a long drive to a distant marina. From the water you see a different perspective on Albania's busiest seaside city and quieter coves nearby that are hard to appreciate from the promenade alone.
The charter focuses on leisure and scenery rather than long-distance passage, which suits guests who want a luxury pause with swimming and deck time without overnight sailing logistics. Adriatic light on afternoon sails often flatters cliff lines and clear water at anchor points chosen by your skipper based on daily conditions.
No sailing knowledge is required because a professional skipper commands the yacht throughout and guests relax on deck, swim when anchored and enjoy coastal views without handling sails. You should be comfortable on a moving vessel and able to follow skipper safety instructions when boarding, moving on deck or entering the water at anchor.
Children must be supervised by adults according to skipper guidance on the day, and anyone prone to seasickness may wish to take precautions before departure. Bring non-slip shoes, swimwear if you plan to enter the water, hat, sunscreen and a light jacket for breezy afternoons offshore.
A private yacht with skipper gives you control over the pace and anchor stops without sharing deck space with strangers on a scheduled harbour tour. Four hours is enough for swimming, photos and celebration time while keeping evening dinner plans free on the Durres waterfront or a return drive to Tirana.
Optional drink and snack packages simplify hosting for anniversaries, birthdays or pre-wedding gatherings on the water when arranged in advance with us. Your skipper selects anchor points for swimming and photography based on daily sea conditions, which removes guesswork when you want a relaxed luxury outing rather than a high-speed coastal blast.
