Spend time on the water exploring Mallorca’s south-east coastline on a private boat trip designed around your group. Routes are flexible and adjusted to sea conditions, with time to swim, snorkel, and access quieter calas that are difficult to reach from land. This experience suits couples, families, and small groups looking for a relaxed but well-run day at sea.
After meeting at the marina, you’ll be welcomed onboard and briefed on the plan for the trip. Routes are chosen on the day based on weather, sea state, and what your group would like to prioritise, whether that’s swimming in sheltered coves, snorkelling over rocky seabeds, or simply cruising along the coastline. The pace is unhurried, with plenty of time to stop, swim, and relax rather than rushing between locations.
Once underway, the skipper navigates towards a series of calas known for clear water and calmer conditions. Snorkelling masks are provided, allowing you to explore close to the rocks where fish and marine life are most commonly found. Drinks are kept cold on ice, and fresh fruit is available throughout the trip, making it easy to stay comfortable on board between swims.
Because this is a private charter, the experience can be adapted as the trip progresses. If one spot feels busy, you can move on. If the group wants more time swimming or floating in a quiet bay, that’s easily accommodated. The focus is on making good use of the time on the water rather than following a fixed route.
Trips depart from the marina in Cala d’Or, on Mallorca’s south-east coast. The meeting point is on Avenida de Cala Lona, directly in front of the Cala d’Or marina office, making it easy to find on foot or by taxi from nearby accommodation.
This part of the coastline is well suited to short boat trips, with numerous small calas close together and generally protected waters. The area is known for good visibility, shallow entry points for swimming, and a mix of sandy and rocky bays, making it ideal for relaxed snorkelling trips without long transit times.
No previous boating or snorkelling experience is required, as the trip is fully skippered and guided. Guests should be comfortable getting in and out of the water independently and able to climb a boat ladder after swimming.
If there are minors in your group, this must be confirmed at the time of booking so the trip can be planned appropriately. Sea conditions vary, and the skipper may adjust plans on the day to ensure safety and comfort for everyone on board.
Trips are kept deliberately small and private, allowing more flexibility than shared boat tours. Routes are chosen around conditions and guest preferences rather than a fixed timetable, which means less time navigating through busy areas and more time in the water where it matters.
Local knowledge of the coastline plays a big part in how the day runs. Understanding how wind direction and swell affect different calas allows for better decisions on the day, resulting in calmer anchor spots, clearer water, and a more enjoyable overall experience.
The meeting point is at the marina in Cala d’Or, on Avenida de Cala Lona, directly in front of the marina office. This location is easy to reach on foot from central Cala d’Or and is well known to local taxis.
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for check-in and a short briefing. If you are delayed, it’s important to contact the team as early as possible, as late arrivals may reduce time on the water.
All experiences are private, meaning only your group will be on board. There are no shared departures with other guests, which allows for a quieter and more flexible experience.
Private trips also make it easier to adjust pace, stops, and timing based on the group’s preferences and the conditions on the day, rather than following a fixed group itinerary.
Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day bookings are not accepted, as boats, skippers, and conditions need to be confirmed ahead of time.
During peak season, availability can fill quickly, especially for sunset and fishing trips, so booking earlier is recommended where possible.
All trips are subject to weather and sea conditions. If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, the skipper may adjust the route, timing, or duration to improve comfort and safety.
If a trip cannot go ahead at all due to conditions, options will usually include rescheduling or cancellation in line with the published cancellation policy.
Children can take part, but this must be confirmed at the time of booking. Age, group size, and the type of activity all affect what is suitable and safe.
Declaring minors in advance allows the trip to be planned properly, including timing, seating, and any additional safety considerations.
Boat trips include snorkelling masks, drinking water, ice, and fresh fruit. These are provided to keep the experience simple and comfortable without needing to bring extra equipment.
Stand-up paddleboards are not included but may be available for an additional €20 if requested in advance and conditions allow.
You should bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection, and any personal items you may need on the water. Light footwear with good grip is recommended for moving around the marina.
For fishing trips, any specialist personal gear should be discussed in advance. Storage space on board is limited, so packing light is advised.
No, routes and timing vary depending on sea conditions, wind direction, and guest preferences. This flexibility is intentional and helps improve comfort and overall quality.
Rather than following a rigid plan, decisions are made on the day to make the best use of the conditions, which often results in a better experience than a fixed route.
