More than a self-guided bike ride, this is an invitation to experience the authentic spirit of the Pallars Sobirà.
Our experiences take place in the heart of the Pallars Sobirà, one of the wildest and most unspoilt regions of the Catalan Pyrenees, with many routes exploring the spectacular Alt Pirineu Natural Park.
Depending on the experience, the season and the group's preferences, we ride through iconic areas such as Sant Joan de l'Erm, the Orri Massif, Virós Forest, Santa Magdalena, Àssua Valley, Siarb Valley, Cardós Valley and Ferrera Valley.
All experiences start from our shop in Sort, where we meet guests before transferring to the most suitable starting point for the day's adventure.
Participants should be comfortable riding a bicycle and have some experience of cycling on uneven terrain. The route is suitable for intermediate riders and benefits greatly from the assistance provided by the electric mountain bikes.
Children may be able to participate using appropriately sized e-MTBs, subject to height, experience and suitability assessment. Riders should be prepared for mountain weather conditions and capable of riding for several hours on forest tracks and mountain roads.
This guided route combines high-quality e-MTB equipment with local expertise, allowing participants to experience a lesser-known part of the Pyrenees in a safe and engaging way. Alongside the cycling, guides provide insights into the area's history, landscapes and wildlife, helping visitors gain a deeper understanding of the region.
Small groups create a more personalised experience, while flexible logistics and professional support allow riders to focus entirely on enjoying the mountains and the journey ahead.
Our experiences are suitable for a wide range of riders, from confident beginners to experienced mountain bikers.
Rather than following fixed routes, we tailor every experience to our guests' riding ability, confidence, fitness level and expectations. This allows us to choose the most suitable terrain, distance and level of challenge, ensuring everyone enjoys the ride safely and comfortably.
If you're comfortable riding a bicycle, we'll recommend the experience and route that best match your abilities. Electric mountain bikes make climbing much easier, allowing you to focus on enjoying the spectacular landscapes of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park.
If you're unsure which experience is right for you, simply get in touch—we'll be happy to help you choose the best option.
The route follows wide mountain tracks and former ski access routes throughout the day. Surfaces vary between compact gravel, dirt and sections containing loose stone.
There are no highly technical sections, but riders should remain attentive during descents, particularly where the ground becomes uneven.
The Alt Pirineu Natural Park is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife and is one of the richest natural areas in the Pyrenees.
Depending on the season, the time of day and a little bit of luck, you may spot wild animals such as Pyrenean chamois, roe deer, red deer, marmots, red squirrels, foxes and a wide range of birds.
The park is also home to several protected species, including impressive birds of prey, making every ride a fantastic opportunity for nature lovers.
Along the way, especially during the grazing season, you'll also encounter traditional mountain livestock, including cows, horses and sheep, which play an essential role in preserving these landscapes and supporting local farming traditions.
As we ride through a protected natural environment, we ask all our guests to respect the wildlife, livestock and natural surroundings. Keeping a respectful distance, avoiding unnecessary noise and leaving no trace helps preserve this unique environment for future generations.
Participants should bring water, snacks, suitable cycling clothing and sun protection. Due to the exposed nature of the route, sunscreen is particularly important during warmer months.
An extra layer of clothing is also recommended, as weather conditions can change quickly in mountain environments.
