Bring people together with tailored outdoor experiences designed for both corporate teams and private groups. Whether you’re planning a company away day, a family celebration, or a gathering of friends, these bespoke sessions combine practical bushcraft skills with fun, hands-on challenges that everyone can enjoy. Every event is unique, with options to adapt activities to your group’s goals or interests.
Corporate team days are carefully designed to encourage problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. Sessions may include survival challenges, fire lighting competitions, and orienteering exercises, all guided by skilled instructors. Teams work together to overcome outdoor scenarios, making it a rewarding and memorable way to strengthen bonds in a natural environment.
Private bookings are more flexible and can be built around your preferences. From birthday celebrations and stag or hen parties to group holidays, the day can be structured around your interests, whether that’s learning essential bushcraft skills or trying something new. As private events are customised, they can also include additional activities not offered on standard courses, such as axe throwing, archery, bow making, or even blacksmithing sessions.
Events can be run at a number of beautiful woodland and countryside sites across Devon and Cornwall. These locations offer a safe but authentic outdoor setting, with the space and facilities needed to run engaging group activities. For businesses or groups wanting something closer to home, sessions can also be delivered at a venue of your choice, making it easy to arrange a day that fits your schedule and requirements.
Being based in the South West provides access to diverse landscapes, from Dartmoor woodlands to riverside settings, ensuring that each event feels authentic and connected to the outdoors. Whether your group is travelling locally or from further afield, the flexibility of venues means it’s straightforward to organise.
No previous outdoor experience is necessary for private or corporate bookings. All activities are guided by experienced instructors who will adapt to the ability levels and goals of the group.
Participants should be prepared to spend the day outside, dressed appropriately for the weather and ready to get involved in practical, hands-on activities. Equipment is provided, so there’s no need to bring specialist kit unless requested in advance.
The team behind these events has years of experience creating meaningful and enjoyable outdoor programmes for both individuals and groups. Their passion lies in sharing the value of outdoor skills while fostering connections between people, making every session more than just an activity.
With expertise in both bushcraft and event delivery, they pride themselves on designing tailored days that leave a lasting impact. By combining practical skills with memorable group experiences, they help participants step away from everyday routines and create stronger bonds in a natural, supportive environment.
Corporate sessions can include a wide range of outdoor challenges designed to strengthen teamwork and problem-solving skills. Activities often involve bushcraft basics such as fire lighting and shelter building, combined with more structured challenges like orienteering or survival scenarios. These sessions are designed to be engaging, practical, and collaborative.
Each day is tailored to suit the group’s goals, so activities can be adjusted depending on whether the focus is communication, leadership, or simply having fun together. Optional extras such as axe throwing or archery can also be added to enhance the programme if requested in advance.
Yes, private sessions are very popular for birthdays, stag and hen parties, or simply groups of friends wanting something unique to do together. These events are built around the group’s interests, with plenty of opportunities to spend time around the fire while learning outdoor skills.
Because they are customised, private events can also include activities not typically offered on standard courses. For example, you could add bow making, blacksmithing, or archery to make the day even more memorable.
No experience is required, as all events are designed to be accessible for complete beginners. Instructors guide participants through every step, from handling tools safely to taking part in team challenges, ensuring that everyone feels included and confident.
For groups with mixed ability levels, instructors adapt the pace and style of teaching so that all participants can engage comfortably. The aim is to create a supportive environment where people can try new things without pressure.
Most events can be booked as either half-day or full-day sessions, depending on the group’s preference. A half-day may be better suited for a busy schedule, while a full-day allows for a broader mix of skills and challenges.
If your team or group has specific goals, the duration can be adjusted to make sure all the key activities are included. Flexibility is an important part of planning, so you can design an event that fits your needs perfectly.
Sessions are usually held at woodland and countryside sites across Devon and Cornwall. These locations provide the right mix of natural space and safety, offering a realistic but managed environment for learning bushcraft and outdoor skills.
For groups who would prefer something closer to home, many activities can also be delivered at a venue of your choice. This makes it possible to bring the outdoor experience directly to you if travel is not convenient.
