Spend a full day on the water from Sorrento visiting Ischia and Procida. Cruise past castles, beaches and colourful harbour fronts, swim when conditions allow, and enjoy free time ashore on both islands before sailing home.
After meeting in Sorrento you transfer to the port, board, and sail toward Ischia. From the water you see Maronti Beach, pause at the Green Cave for a swim when conditions allow, and pass Aragonese Castle before free time in Ischia port.
Continue to Procida for a coastal circuit past Vivara, Terra Murata and Marina di Corricella, with another swim stop and about one to two hours ashore before the return to Sorrento and a limoncello tasting on board.
Ischia and Procida sit in the Bay of Naples west of Sorrento, with volcanic green hills, thermal coastlines and colourful fishing harbours that feel different from Capri's cliff towns.
Sorrento is a practical base for a two-island day by boat. Meeting at Achille Lauro keeps the morning simple before you reach the marina.
No boating experience is needed. A professional skipper handles navigation and docking while you enjoy the ride and time ashore.
You should be comfortable boarding a small boat and walking harbour towns on both islands. Bring sensible footwear for slopes and uneven streets.
Visiting both Ischia and Procida in one day gives you a broader Bay of Naples view than a single-island ferry hop. Swim stops and free time ashore keep the pace mixed between boat and town.
Snacks, soft drinks and a limoncello tasting are typically offered on board, and the Sorrento meeting point keeps logistics simple without organising your own inter-island tickets.
Meet at Parcheggio Comunale Achille Lauro on Via Correale in Sorrento, then transfer to the departure port. Once aboard, the skipper briefs the group and you cast off toward Ischia and Procida.
The early stretch opens views across the Bay of Naples as you settle on deck for the first leg of the day.
Arrive at Ischia and cruise past Maronti Beach, one of the island's longest stretches of sand. Continue to the Green Cave, a rock-cut sea cave where reflected light turns the water green, for a swim stop when conditions allow.
From the water you also see Aragonese Castle on its rocky outcrop, linked to the island by a bridge.
Dock at Ischia port for about three to four hours of free time. Explore the harbour area on foot or take a local microtaxi if you want to cover more of the island at your own pace.
Return to the boat at the agreed time for the short hop across to Procida.
Cruise around Procida past Vivara nature reserve, Terra Murata and the multicoloured houses of Marina di Corricella. Pause for a swim in a coastal bay when conditions allow, then enjoy about one to two hours ashore.
Sail back to Sorrento with a limoncello tasting on board to close the day.
Meet at Parcheggio Comunale Achille Lauro on Via Correale in Sorrento (postcode 80067). This municipal car park is a practical meeting point before the short transfer to the departure port for Ischia and Procida.
Public transport and taxis serve central Sorrento easily. Confirm the exact meet time on your booking confirmation and arrive early enough for a calm check-in.
