Buggy Tour in Punta Cana

Round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off in the Punta Cana resort corridor is included in your booking. Provide your hotel name and room details when you reserve so the driver can plan the route and confirm your collection window.

Cap Cana pickups are coordinated at the Cap Cana Main Tourist Entrance near Centro Comercial Las Canas. Some properties may require a designated meeting point or additional transfer arrangement.

Plan for roughly four hours from hotel pickup to return, including driving on ranch trails, cultural stops and beach time. The guided convoy keeps a steady pace so you have time at each highlight without feeling rushed.

Actual duration can vary slightly with traffic, group size and how long guests spend swimming at the cenote or walking on Macao Beach. Your guide coordinates breaks and keeps the schedule flexible within the half-day window.

The minimum passenger age is five years. Drivers must be at least seventeen years old. Participants up to seventeen years old require parental authorization before taking the wheel.

Minors who do not meet the driving requirements may ride as passengers with a responsible adult when permitted on the day. Final vehicle occupancy rules are confirmed at check-in on the day.

A full driving licence is not always required for resort buggy tours on private ranch land, but you must be at least seventeen years old to drive and confident steering on uneven tracks. Guides explain the simple automatic controls and convoy rules before you leave the staging area.

If you prefer not to drive, you can ride as a passenger with another adult in the same buggy when space allows. Ask at check-in so staff can pair parties fairly across the fleet.

Wear clothes you do not mind getting dusty or muddy, closed shoes and sunscreen. A bandana or buff helps on dusty trail sections, and sunglasses reduce glare on open ranch tracks.

Bring swimwear and a towel for the cenote cave and Macao Beach, plus a change of clothes for the return transfer. Secure cameras or phones in a zip bag if you plan photos near water or sand.

Tours operate year-round on scheduled dates when trails are passable. Brief tropical showers are common and may make tracks muddy without stopping the outing; guides adjust speed and spacing for safety.

If heavy rain, flooding or lightning makes off-road sections unsafe, the team will contact you to arrange a new date when conditions allow.

Yes. Guests who do not want to drive can ride as passengers with another adult in the same buggy when capacity allows. One person steers while others sit securely with seat belts or grab handles as provided.

Pairing depends on group size and how buggies are allocated at the ranch. Tell staff at check-in if you need a passenger-only seat so they can organise seating before the convoy sets off.

Shared departures can include up to fifteen participants, keeping convoy size manageable on narrow ranch tracks. Guides ride at the front and rear to maintain spacing and assist anyone who needs a slower pace.

For groups of twenty or more participants, please send an enquiry so availability and operational coordination can be confirmed before you travel.

Booking assistance is available in Spanish, English, German and French. The operating language of the tour is subject to the assigned guide and should be confirmed when booking.

Briefings cover safety, route highlights and timing at each stop. Mixed-language groups are common; guides repeat key instructions so everyone understands convoy rules and stop times.

The convoy pauses at Las Ondas, an underground cenote cave with a natural pool of clear water. Guides allow time to descend into the shaded chamber, swim if you wish and take photos before returning to the buggies.

Life jackets or flotation aids may be available depending on conditions. Wear swimwear under your clothes or change quickly at the site; the stop breaks up the driving and cools you down before the beach finale.
