Sushi at Sunset Chartered Cruise in Dania Beach, Florida

Yes, advance booking is highly recommended as this charter only runs on Wednesdays and spots are limited to a single group of up to six passengers. Due to the unique nature of the sushi offering and the limited availability, last-minute bookings may not be possible.

Booking early also helps the team prepare the sushi platter and tailor your cruise to suit the expected conditions for that week’s sunset. This ensures you get the best possible experience from both the catering and the timing of your departure.

You’re welcome to bring your own beverages or extra snacks if you’d like to customise your experience further. While the charter includes a generous 60-piece sushi selection, some groups like to add their own soft drinks, sparkling water, or small treats.

It’s recommended to keep it simple and easy to manage, as the boat is designed for comfort and socialising, not for large meals. Glass containers should be avoided for safety, and the captain will provide guidance on suitable storage spots once onboard.

The 60 pieces of sushi are handpicked by the captain and vary based on availability and freshness. The mix typically includes a variety of rolls and nigiri, offering a good balance of flavours and textures. The selection is intended to complement the relaxed, sunset vibe of the cruise.

Requests for specific types of sushi cannot be guaranteed, but if you have dietary concerns (e.g. allergies or dietary restrictions), it’s best to mention them in advance. The team will do their best to accommodate within reason, though customisation is limited due to the captain’s choice format.

Yes, swimming is allowed during the cruise and is a popular part of the experience. The captain will select a safe, calm spot where the water is clean and suitable for swimming, often in a quieter stretch of the Intracoastal.

Guests are welcome to bring their own towels and swimwear. The boat has a rear access area designed to make it easier to get in and out of the water, and the captain will advise on water conditions and safety before allowing anyone to swim.

The cruise typically lasts around two hours, though this can vary slightly depending on the sunset time and weather conditions. Departure is timed to give you a full sunset experience, which means it shifts throughout the year.

Exact timing is confirmed when you book. This flexibility helps make the most of the golden hour and ensures you’re on the water during the most visually appealing part of the evening.

Yes, the boat is equipped with a high-quality Bluetooth sound system, and guests can connect their own devices to play preferred playlists or music. This feature helps personalise your cruise and lets you set the tone for the evening.

Whether you’re in the mood for relaxed tunes or something more upbeat, you can take control of the soundtrack. If you'd rather the captain handle it, they can play something ambient that fits the sunset vibe.
