From Marina El Portet, Skylark runs as a Crownline E255 with an open bow, updated throttle and gear controls, and automatic seating. The deck finishes are the ones fitted on this hull, and you'll pick the hours from a sunset to a full day. The boat stays with your group the whole time, whether you want a skipper or you hold the licence to take the helm yourself.
Before you leave the berth, we walk the helm and the swim ladder so you know where to sit when the boat comes up on the plane. Sit at the open bow on the way along the Costa Blanca, or stay by the helm if you want to watch the updated throttle and automatic seating at work, then ease off in a cala when the water is kind.
Sunset stays in the evening light and turns for home before dark. A half day covers a swim and a look at the first cliffs, and a full day gives you time to sit still off the lighthouse instead of turning after one stop. Tell us how you want the day to feel when you request the date and we will plan the run around that.
Clear the breakwater and the gulf opens with Dénia castle behind you. Skylark lives on the pontoon by the charter office, so boarding is a short walk from the marina car park and you are not sent across town.
The usual water is the coast toward the lighthouse and the smaller beaches under the cliffs. You finish at the same berth, so anyone waiting ashore can meet you back at the marina rather than guessing which harbour we used.
Wear shoes you can slip off and pack sun cream for the open bow, because there is not much shade once you sit forward. Tell us if anyone would rather stay on deck than swim, and a skipper means you do not need a licence.
To helm Skylark yourself you must be 24 or over with an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent. Attach the licence to the request, bring the original on the day, and keep the guest count at eight plus the skipper.
Updated throttle, automatic seating and an open bow are waiting when you step on. The ride is set up for a smooth run along the coast, whether you are sitting forward or staying by the helm, and we walk those controls with you at the briefing if you are taking the wheel.
You meet at the office, board a few metres away and come back to the same walkway. The day stays on one hull for your group, and the route follows the breeze that morning rather than a fixed loop.
You arrive at the office, confirm the hours and walk onto Skylark. We cover lifejackets, the stern ladder and where to sit when the boat comes up on the plane, and we walk the updated throttle if you are taking the helm.
Leave hard luggage in the car. A small bag is enough for towels and sun cream on this deck, and the open bow stays clearer if bags sit under the seats.
The first stretch leaves Portet and follows the limestone shore. Sit at the open bow, or stay by the helm if you want to watch the updated throttle and automatic seating at work while we find a cala.
We pick a stop if the swell is low, or keep moving if you would rather stay dry. Longer bookings can sit off the lighthouse with the engine off, and sunset trips stay nearer the harbour mouth so you are home before dark.
We come alongside the same berth, you step off and we take care of the wash-down. Fuel is settled at the office after the hours you actually ran.
Sunset trips stay nearer the harbour mouth so you are home before dark. If you want Skylark again later in the week, ask while you are still on the pontoon and we can check the diary in person.
Plan for eight guests plus the skipper. You book the boat as one charter for the hours on the water, not a seat, so a mixed group can sit together on the open bow.
Tell us the headcount when you request the date. We will not put more people on this hull than that limit, and we will plan seating around who wants to sit forward and who wants to stay by the helm.
Skylark uses updated throttle and gear controls and automatic seating. That set-up is there to keep the ride smooth and the seating settled while you are under way, which you will notice once we come up on the plane.
You still get an open bow for sitting forward. If you are helm yourself, we walk those controls with you at the briefing before lines come off, so you are not guessing at the pontoon.
Sunset includes a skipper, so you sit on deck while we handle the harbour and the return in the dark. Half days are listed with and without a skipper so you can choose, depending on who is taking the wheel.
Bareboat still needs a helm aged 24 or over with an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent. Send the licence with the request so we can confirm that option before you travel, and bring the original on the day.
Meet at the charter office, Moll de la Pansa 6, Marina El Portet, Dénia. Skylark is on that pontoon, not across town in the commercial harbour, so park at the marina and walk down.
We confirm the start time when we accept the request. Give yourself a few minutes before the slot so the briefing can finish before lines come off, rather than waiting at the castle or the beach.
You can swim when we are happy with the cove and the engine is off. The stern ladder is the way back on, not a jump from the bow, and we keep someone watching the water.
There is no set swim list. Some groups spend most of a half day in the water, and others stay seated and treat it as a run along the cliffs.
Pack swimwear, a towel, sun cream, a hat and a small soft bag for phones and keys. Deck shoes that come off easily are better than boots on a wet cockpit, and the open bow gets a lot of sun so the cream matters.
If you are helm yourself, bring the original licence as well as a photo. Leave hard suitcases in the car, because the deck is for people and a change of clothes, not luggage.
Half days start at 09:00 or 14:00. Full days start at 09:00 or 10:00, and sunset starts at 19:00 and finishes at 21:30.
We assign a free slot when we accept. Extra hours can be added if the next booking is not already on the berth, so ask when you book if you want to stay out a little longer.
You can, on the half-day option listed without a skipper, if you are 24 or over and hold an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent. Attach a photo of the licence to the request so we can confirm it before you travel.
Sunset always includes a skipper. If you want crew on a full day, pick the eight-hour skippered option and we will confirm it when we accept.
You get Skylark for the booked hours, safety kit and the gear already on the boat, including the updated helm and automatic seating. A skipper is included on the skippered options at checkout.
Fuel, food, drinks and travel to the marina are not included. Bring what you want to eat on the day and settle fuel at the office after you come back alongside.
We will not take Skylark out if the sea state is unsafe. That decision is made on the morning from wind, swell and visibility, not from a phone forecast alone.
If we cannot run, we will look for another slot. Get in touch the evening before if the forecast already looks poor so we can hold a spare.

À propos du centre
Dénia
You'll meet at the charter office on Moll de la Pansa in Marina El Portet, Dénia, then head out along the Costa Blanca towards the coves and the lighthouse at Cabo de San Antonio. Days run from a two-hour sunset to a half day or a full day, with a skipper included when you want one.
Gennaro and the crew keep groups to one boat, with kit already on board so you can swim, sit on deck or follow the coastline without packing extra gear. If you hold an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent and you are 24 or over, you can take a boat without a skipper. Routes follow the weather, and you come back to the same pontoon at the end of the session.
