Private wingfoil coaching offers focused instruction tailored entirely around your personal goals, whether you are learning the basics, improving riding control or progressing towards more advanced foil techniques. With dedicated one-to-one support, sessions are adapted to your experience level, learning pace and preferred riding style.
Private coaching sessions begin with an assessment of your current experience level and the specific areas you would like to improve. Complete beginners may start with wing handling on the beach and introductory balance exercises on larger boards, while intermediate riders often focus on improving riding consistency, turning techniques or gaining confidence riding upwind.
Lessons take place in conditions suited to your progression level, using the lagoon’s shallow-water areas for safer practice and controlled learning. Instructors adapt each session depending on the wind, tides and your individual progression speed, allowing more flexibility than a standard group lesson structure. Practical exercises are repeated steadily to help movements feel more natural on the water.
Advanced riders can use private coaching to refine foil control, improve efficiency during longer rides or work on more technical manoeuvres. Because the instructor focuses solely on your riding throughout the session, feedback remains continuous and highly personalised from start to finish.
Parajuru’s tidal lagoon provides ideal conditions for private wingfoil coaching thanks to its spacious riding area and shallow-water sections during higher tides. Beginners benefit from calmer learning zones close to shore, while more experienced riders can explore longer runs and slightly more challenging conditions around the lagoon and nearby sea.
The surrounding coastline combines warm water, reliable wind and uncrowded riding space, making it well suited to progression-focused wingfoil training throughout the season.
Private wingfoil coaching is suitable for all experience levels. Beginners can use the sessions as a first introduction to the sport, while intermediate and advanced riders may focus on specific progression goals or technical improvements.
Participants booking advanced coaching should already feel comfortable handling the wing independently and riding in controlled conditions before progressing into more technical foil work.
Private instruction allows lessons to move entirely at your pace, with every exercise and coaching adjustment focused specifically on your development. This creates a more flexible learning environment and gives riders the opportunity to spend extra time refining areas they find more challenging.
The centre’s direct access to the lagoon also allows instructors to choose suitable conditions throughout the day depending on tides, wind strength and rider ability. Combined with premium equipment and beach support, sessions remain practical, comfortable and progression-focused throughout.
Yes. Private coaching works very well for beginners because instructors can focus entirely on your pace and confidence level throughout the lesson.
Early sessions usually cover wing handling, balance exercises and basic riding techniques before progressing gradually into foil control.
Absolutely. Many riders use private coaching to improve specific techniques such as riding upwind, transitions, foil control or longer-distance riding.
Advanced coaching can also focus on refining efficiency and improving confidence in different water conditions.
Most private coaching options include wingfoil equipment during the session. There is also an option for riders who prefer to train using their own equipment.
Using familiar equipment can sometimes be helpful for experienced riders focusing on technical progression.
Semi-private sessions are designed for two participants learning together with one instructor. This option allows friends, partners or riders of a similar level to share coaching time while still receiving personalised feedback.
Exercises can still be adjusted individually depending on each rider’s confidence and progression.
Session lengths range from one hour through to extended multi-hour coaching packages. Beginners often benefit from several sessions spread across multiple days, while experienced riders may choose shorter sessions focused on a particular skill.
Longer packages also allow more flexibility to work around the best wind and tide conditions.
The lagoon provides calmer shallow-water conditions during higher tides, making it especially useful for learning wing control, balance and foil techniques safely.
As riders progress, instructors may also use nearby open-water areas depending on confidence levels and daily conditions.
