Enjoy the Mediterranean your own way with a private boat charter departing from Benalmádena's vibrant Puerto Marina. Whether you're gathering family together, celebrating with friends or simply fancy a few relaxing hours at sea, you'll have the entire yacht reserved exclusively for your group while an experienced skipper takes care of everything.
Your experience begins at Puerto Marina, where you'll meet the friendly crew before stepping aboard a comfortable, fully equipped mini yacht. After a brief welcome and safety introduction, it's time to leave the harbour behind and head out onto the Mediterranean. With an experienced skipper and crew looking after the boat, you can simply settle in, enjoy the sea breeze and spend your time exactly as you choose.
Unlike scheduled sightseeing cruises, this charter is completely private, meaning there are no strangers onboard and no rigid timetable to follow. If your group wants to cruise slowly along the coastline, admire the beaches from the water or stop somewhere peaceful for a swim, the skipper will tailor the trip around your preferences while keeping an eye on the sea conditions.
Every booking feels a little different depending on the occasion. Some groups spend the journey sunbathing and listening to music, while others use the boat as the perfect setting for birthdays, hen parties, anniversaries, family days out or team events. Longer charters allow more time to explore the coastline, and you can also arrange optional extras before your trip, including catering, drinks, photography, transport and water activities to create a day that's completely your own.
Departures take place from Puerto Marina in Benalmádena, one of the Costa del Sol's most popular waterfront destinations. The marina is lined with restaurants, cafés, shops and bars, making it an excellent place to arrive early or continue your day after returning to shore.
Once out on the water, you'll enjoy views of the coastline that simply aren't possible from land. Calm Mediterranean waters, sandy beaches and the backdrop of the Costa del Sol create an enjoyable setting whether you're planning to relax for a couple of hours or spend much longer exploring the coast.
No previous boating knowledge is needed, and you won't need a licence to enjoy this experience. Your skipper remains in charge of the yacht throughout the charter, allowing everyone to relax from the moment you step aboard.
Comfortable clothing, sun protection and swimwear are recommended if you'd like to take a dip during the trip. Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
Time on the water should feel personal rather than rushed, which is why every charter is reserved for a single group and adapted around what you want from the day. Backed by over ten years of experience navigating the waters around Benalmádena, the crew focuses on making every trip safe, enjoyable and easy from start to finish.
Respect for the sea is equally important. Alongside delivering memorable private charters, the team is committed to protecting the local marine environment while helping guests experience the Costa del Sol from a completely different perspective.
No. When you book this experience, the entire yacht is reserved exclusively for your group, so you'll never be sharing the space with people you don't know. This creates a much more relaxed atmosphere and allows you to enjoy the trip at your own pace.
Private hire is ideal whether you're planning a quiet afternoon with family, celebrating a birthday, organising a hen party or simply spending quality time together. The experience revolves around your group rather than following the schedule of a larger tour.
Not at all. Everything is taken care of by a professional skipper with extensive experience navigating the waters around Benalmádena, so there's nothing you need to operate yourself.
Before setting off, you'll receive a short welcome and safety briefing, after which you can simply sit back and enjoy the journey. The crew remains available throughout the trip if you have any questions or need assistance.
The yacht accommodates groups of up to 12 guests, making it suitable for a wide variety of occasions without feeling overcrowded.
Whether you're travelling as a family, meeting friends on holiday, arranging a work social or celebrating something special, everyone can stay together on one private boat throughout the charter.
The route is flexible and your skipper will work with you to create an enjoyable trip based on your preferred experience, the length of your booking and the day's sea conditions.
Some guests prefer a leisurely cruise along the coastline, while others would rather spend time anchored in a quiet bay for swimming or simply relaxing under the Mediterranean sun. Your skipper will also recommend the best locations based on local knowledge.
Swimming is one of the highlights for many visitors, and suitable stops can often be included whenever conditions make it safe to do so.
The skipper knows a number of calm areas along the coastline and will choose an appropriate location if your group would like to cool off in the clear Mediterranean waters during the trip.
It's worth discussing your plans before the day of your charter, as different catering options may be available depending on your booking.
If you'd rather leave everything organised for you, optional catering and onboard refreshments can also be arranged in advance, allowing you to simply arrive and enjoy your day without any extra planning.
Absolutely. Many guests choose a private charter to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, hen parties, family reunions or simply because they want to enjoy a memorable day together.
Because the boat is reserved exclusively for your group, there's plenty of flexibility to create the atmosphere you're looking for. Optional photography, catering and additional extras can help make the occasion even more memorable.
Light clothing, comfortable footwear, sunglasses and sun cream are recommended for most departures, especially during the warmer months. If you're planning to swim, don't forget your towel and swimwear.
Bringing a light jacket can also be worthwhile, particularly for evening charters or days when there's a breeze out at sea, even if temperatures are warm on land.
