Spend two hours in the saddle exploring the valleys around Göreme with an experienced local guide. The pace suits first-timers and relaxed riders, with time for photos among the rock formations that make this landscape famous.
Your experience begins with hotel pickup in Göreme where available, or a meet-up at the local base. The team introduces you to your horse, helps you settle into the saddle and explains the simple signals used on the trail. Horses are matched to riders with different levels of experience, so first-timers have time to become comfortable before leaving the village edge.
Your guide then leads the group onto natural valley tracks between Cappadocia's volcanic cliffs and fairy chimneys. The pace stays relaxed and controlled, with the group kept together and short photo stops along the way. After roughly two hours in the saddle, you return to the base and rejoin the vehicle for hotel drop-off where this is included. Full step-by-step detail sits in the itinerary below.
