Enjoy a private hot air balloon flight over Mallorca, designed exclusively for you and your chosen passengers. Choose from sunrise or sunset departures and take in the island’s scenic landscapes from the air, from rugged hills to distant islands, in a calm and personalised experience. Every flight allows hands-on involvement with the balloon assembly and a memorable air baptism ceremony.
Your private excursion begins at the official Balloon Airport in Manacor, where the crew will welcome you and explain the day’s schedule. You will have the opportunity to assist with the balloon’s assembly and learn about the burners, basket, and sail under pilot supervision. Watching the balloon inflate and rise is a highlight of the experience.
Once onboard, the basket lifts gently into the sky, offering unobstructed views of Mallorca’s countryside, coastal areas, and on clear days, Cabrera and Menorca. The pilots provide commentary throughout the flight, sharing insights about ballooning and the surrounding scenery. The experience is serene, allowing you to enjoy the sensation of floating silently above the island.
The landing is coordinated by the experienced ground crew, who will collect the balloon safely. After touchdown, you receive a personalised flight certificate as part of the traditional air baptism. These exclusive flights are tailored to provide privacy and comfort, making them ideal for couples, families, or small groups seeking a unique aerial experience.
The main departure point is the Balloon Airport in Manacor on Road MA-15, exit 44 (Palma–Manacor). This fully authorised civil aviation site offers open surroundings ideal for safe take-off and landing.
Flights may also start from alternative locations on request, including private properties for an additional cost. Each take-off site is chosen to maximise safety, comfort, and scenic views, with flexibility depending on wind direction and weather conditions.
All passengers should be comfortable standing during the flight and wearing appropriate clothing and closed shoes. Headgear is recommended for protection against the heat of the burner.
