Hidden villages, rolling hills, and scenic waterways make every ride unique, while quiet lanes and off-road tracks offer a safe and enjoyable cycling experience.
Riders must be at least 14 years old in line with UK law. They should have basic cycling experience and be comfortable balancing on a standard bicycle. Electric assistance will make pedalling easier, but safe riding skills are essential for both roads and trails.
For off-road routes, a moderate level of fitness and confidence on uneven terrain is recommended. With access to a range of terrains from city streets to national park trails, riders can explore Chichester and the South Downs in a flexible and convenient way. The support team is knowledgeable about local routes, giving helpful advice for maximising your ride while enjoying the scenery safely.
We offer three main types of electric bikes: Leisure eBikes for smooth city streets and gentle off-road paths, eMTB Hardtails for trail enthusiasts, and full-suspension eMTBs for challenging off-road terrain. Each bike is maintained to a high standard to ensure reliability and comfort for riders of all levels.
Each type of bike is suited to different terrains and riding styles. Leisure eBikes are ideal for relaxed rides and mixed urban/scenic routes. Hardtails are designed for moderate off-road trails, while full-suspension bikes are best for rugged, technical trails where maximum comfort and control are needed.
Hire periods range from short 4-hour sessions to multi-day rentals lasting up to 7 days. This allows riders to choose a timeframe that suits their plans, whether it’s a quick ride around Chichester or a longer adventure exploring the South Downs and surrounding areas.
For multi-day hires, riders have the flexibility to plan different routes each day. Batteries can be recharged at your accommodation or designated points, ensuring continuous exploration without worrying about running out of power.
