Discover Scuba Dive in Dubai

First-time scuba in Dubai is kept short and closely supervised, so you can try breathing underwater without committing to a full course. Instructors take you to a selected local site, supply the kit, and include an underwater photography session so you leave with images from the dive. The in-water window is 30 minutes, which keeps the focus on a calm first descent rather than a long bottom time.

📋 Key Details

• Duration: 30 minutes in the water, plus briefing and kit time
• Group size: From 1 person
• Meeting point: Dubai dive site, with hotel pickup on the transfer rate
• Minimum age: 10 years
• Format: Instructor-led try-dive, not a certification course

🏄 What to Expect

Once you arrive you fit a mask, fins, wetsuit and scuba unit, then run through breathing, hand signals and equalising with your instructor. The in-water window is 30 minutes, so the focus is a calm first descent and a short guided swim rather than a long bottom time. You stay close to your guide the whole time, which keeps the first minutes underwater feeling manageable.

A complimentary underwater photography session is part of the ticket, so you are not pressed to carry your own camera. Sites are chosen for a quieter local feel rather than a crowded public beach. This is a try-dive, not the longer certified scuba day sold as a different product.

📍 Location

Diving takes place in Dubai coastal waters at sites the team knows well, away from the busiest beach clubs. You still see the city skyline from the water, but the briefing happens where the instructor can control entries and keep the group together.

Hotel pickup, when included, collects you from your Dubai stay and returns you after you have changed. Guests on the tour-only rate should allow extra time to reach the agreed meeting point, as traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road can slow morning and late-afternoon transfers.

✅ Prerequisites

You should be at least ten, able to swim, and comfortable putting your face in the water. No scuba certificate is required, and the instructor stays with you for the whole in-water window.

Bring a passport or photo ID, a swimsuit, a towel and a change of clothes for afterwards. Avoid a heavy meal just before the dive, and wear contact lenses or a strap if you usually rely on glasses.

⭐ Why Choose Us

Kit is supplied and checked before you enter, and an instructor stays with you for the whole in-water window. Hotel transfer is available on the matching rate, and underwater photos are included so you are not pressed to buy a separate camera package.

The session is deliberately short and closely supervised, which suits first-timers who want a look at scuba without a full training day. You leave with images from the dive and a clear sense of whether a longer certified course is for you later.
