Setting off from Sorrento by private yacht gives the day a relaxed, open feel from the very beginning. With the Raffaelli 37 as your base, time is shared between cruising, swimming, and enjoying the coastline at a pace shaped around your group.
Your day begins at Sorrento harbour, where you’ll meet your skipper and step on board the Raffaelli 37. After a short safety briefing, the boat heads out along the coast following the route selected at booking, which may include Capri, Positano, Amalfi, or a combination of destinations. Early cruising time allows everyone to settle in, choose between shaded seating and open deck space, and enjoy the first stretch of coastline away from busy ports.
As the trip continues, the skipper plans swimming and snorkelling stops at suitable points along the route, depending on sea conditions. These breaks are spaced naturally through the day, giving time to swim directly from the boat, relax in the water, or stay on board and enjoy the view. Drinks and light snacks are available, so the pace stays comfortable without the need to rush between stops.
Later in the afternoon, the balance between cruising and stopping can be adjusted to suit your group. Some prefer covering more distance and seeing multiple areas, while others enjoy longer stops and more time relaxing on deck. The return journey to Sorrento is calm and scenic, rounding off the day with time to unwind and take in the coastline as the boat heads back into harbour.
Departure is from Marina Piccola in Sorrento, a well-known harbour area close to the town centre and easy to reach on foot or by local transport. Starting here provides quick access to open water and multiple route options.
From Sorrento, journeys can head towards Capri or along the Amalfi Coast, offering varied scenery that includes cliffs, small bays, and coastal towns best appreciated from the sea.
This experience is suitable for couples, families, and private groups travelling together. Children are welcome on board but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Guests should be comfortable stepping on and off the boat with minimal assistance. Anyone with mobility concerns or specific needs should consider these in advance so the day can be enjoyed without unnecessary stress.
Private departures allow the day to unfold around the group rather than a fixed schedule. Skippers adjust routes, stops, and pacing based on sea conditions and guest preferences, creating a more personal experience.
With space for up to 12 people, the Raffaelli 37 works well for larger groups who want to travel together comfortably, combining flexibility with the ease of a full-day private yacht trip.
The cost is charged per group rather than per person, for up to 12 guests on board. This means the total price stays the same whether you are a small group or using the full capacity.
Many families and groups of friends find this better value than booking multiple smaller boats or per-person experiences.
Routes are chosen at the time of booking and may include Capri, Positano, Amalfi, or a combination of these. The skipper follows the selected itinerary while adjusting timing and stops during the day.
This approach gives a clear plan while still allowing flexibility once you’re on the water.
While the main route is agreed in advance, the day itself is flexible. Time can be shifted between cruising, swimming, and relaxing depending on how the group feels.
If you decide you’d like longer swimming stops or more time enjoying the ride, the skipper can usually adapt the schedule.
The boat offers generous seating, sunbathing areas, and shaded space, making it well suited to longer trips. Guests can move around easily and choose where they want to spend their time.
This layout helps keep the atmosphere relaxed, even with a full group on board for the day.
Swimming and snorkelling stops are included whenever sea and weather conditions allow. The skipper selects calm, clear areas along the chosen route for these breaks.
Equipment is provided on board, so you don’t need to bring your own unless you prefer to.
