Enjoy a relaxed family day on the water as you sail from Puerto Calero to the famous Papagayo Beaches aboard a spacious catamaran. Combining sailing, swimming, water activities and a freshly prepared lunch, this four-hour excursion offers something for every age, whether you want to stay active or simply enjoy Lanzarote's coastline.
Beginning in Puerto Calero, you'll board the catamaran before sailing along Lanzarote's southern coast towards the sheltered bays of Papagayo. Children often enjoy sitting on the catamaran's nets as the boat glides across the water, while the crew demonstrate how the sails work and even teach guests how to tie a traditional bowline knot. Keep watch throughout the journey, as flying fish and dolphins are sometimes seen in these waters.
Reaching Papagayo, the catamaran anchors in a calm bay where the sea becomes your playground. You can jump in using the onboard slide, explore beneath the surface with the provided snorkelling equipment, paddle a kayak, or try stand-up paddleboarding. Guests who prefer to stay dry can relax on deck, enjoy the scenery or simply soak up the atmosphere while the crew prepare lunch.
Served on board, lunch includes pasta with tomatoes, fresh vegetables and parmesan cheese, traditional Canarian potatoes with mojo sauce and a fresh salad. Water, sparkling water, juices, beer, wine and cava are all included throughout the excursion before the leisurely sail back to Puerto Calero.
Positioned on Lanzarote's southern coast, Puerto Calero is one of the island's best-known marinas and provides a convenient departure point with cafés, restaurants and waterfront walks nearby. Included transfers from the island's main resorts make reaching the harbour straightforward for many visitors.
Beyond the marina, the route follows one of Lanzarote's most attractive stretches of coastline towards the Papagayo Beaches. Known for clear turquoise water, sheltered coves and golden sand, this protected area offers ideal conditions for swimming and enjoying time at anchor.
Everyone is welcome on this excursion, and no previous sailing experience is required. Families, couples and groups can all enjoy the trip, whether they wish to get involved with sailing or simply relax on board.
Confident swimming is recommended for anyone planning to take part in the water activities. Bringing swimwear, a towel, suncream and a light jumper will help you stay comfortable throughout the day.
Creating memorable days at sea has been the focus since 1995, with a friendly team that combines years of sailing experience with extensive local knowledge of Lanzarote's coastline. Every excursion is designed to offer a relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy the island from a different perspective.
Alongside delivering enjoyable experiences, protecting the marine environment remains an important part of every trip. The experienced crew take pride in sharing their passion for the ocean while helping preserve Lanzarote's natural surroundings for future generations.

Freshly prepared on board, lunch consists of pasta with tomatoes, vegetables and parmesan cheese, Canarian potatoes served with traditional mojo sauce and a fresh salad.
Throughout the excursion you can enjoy unlimited water, sparkling water, fruit juices, beer, wine and cava, all included within the experience.
After anchoring at the Papagayo Beaches, you'll have time to swim, snorkel, kayak and use stand-up paddleboards provided by the crew. Equipment is available for guests to use during the stop.
Many visitors also enjoy using the onboard slide to enter the sea, while others simply choose to float in the calm water or relax on the catamaran's spacious decks.
