A full week based at a lodge in Extremadura's reservoir country gives serious time on the water: five guided fishing days chasing bass, pike, zander and barbel, with a guide handling logistics throughout.
Every guided day starts with breakfast at the lodge before heading out on the water, with a packed lunch eaten on the boat. Five fishing days give enough time to properly work several of the reservoirs rather than rushing between them, with the full plan set out below.
This week-long package extends the guided fishing to five full days, giving more time to fish multiple reservoirs and adjust the plan around how the fishing is going. Breakfast and a packed lunch are provided daily, with dinner included on the night you arrive, and your guide manages the boat and tackle knowledge throughout.
Bruce guides personally and fishes these waters throughout the year, so a full week benefits from genuinely current knowledge of where different species are holding rather than a fixed itinerary. Catch and release is central to how every day is run, with fish handled carefully throughout.
With permits, boat fuel and insurance included, and accommodation and most meals bundled in, a week-long trip is straightforward to plan around the fishing itself. The extra days compared to the half-week package mean less time lost to a single slow session and more chance to properly explore the water.
You are based at the lodge for the full week, in a single, twin or double room with wifi and a shared TV room. The longer stay makes it easy to settle into a rhythm of fishing days without needing to think about logistics.
