A structured surf coaching session designed for all levels, offering both shared group learning and private one-to-one instruction. Each session is built around individual ability, ensuring clear guidance in the water and steady improvement at a comfortable pace. Sessions take place in the ocean at selected beach breaks, with conditions chosen daily to suit safety and learning needs.
The experience begins on the beach with a full safety briefing and equipment introduction. You’ll be guided through the fundamentals on land first, including positioning on the board, pop-up practice, and how to read basic wave behaviour. This helps build familiarity before entering the water, regardless of whether you are in a group or private session.
For open group sessions, coaching is structured to balance individual feedback with shared learning. Each participant is guided through wave attempts with regular instructor input, allowing you to learn from both direct coaching and observation of others. The focus is on repetition, confidence building, and understanding how to work with small, manageable waves.
In private sessions, the coaching is fully tailored to your ability and goals. The instructor works closely with you in the water, offering continuous corrections and adapting exercises based on your progress in real time. More time is spent refining technique, improving wave selection, and building consistency at your own pace.
Across both formats, conditions are assessed daily to ensure the most suitable surf spot is used. As the session progresses, you’ll spend more time practising independently with instructor support nearby, helping you build confidence and practical control in real wave conditions.
Sessions take place along the coastal surf areas of Lanzarote, where Atlantic swell provides consistent learning conditions throughout the year. The coastline offers a mix of sandy beach breaks and sheltered sections that are well suited for developing surfers.
Locations are selected based on daily sea conditions and participant ability, ensuring a safe and manageable learning environment. The volcanic landscape surrounding the coastline creates open views and varied surf zones, giving flexibility to move between different spots depending on conditions.
No previous surfing experience is required to take part in these sessions. Basic swimming ability is recommended as all coaching takes place in open water.
Participants should be comfortable in the sea and willing to follow instruction throughout the session. A positive approach to repetition and practice will help maximise progress regardless of starting level.
