As daylight begins to soften across the Maltese Islands, this guided Ryker adventure combines the crystal-clear waters of Comino with the scenic roads of Gozo. Designed for those looking to experience the islands in a different way, the tour blends sightseeing, local culture and open-road riding with some of the best evening views Gozo has to offer.
For guests travelling from Malta, the experience begins with transport and boat transfers to Comino. You'll have around two hours to enjoy the island before the main tour starts, giving you time to walk along the coastline, take photographs, enjoy the sea views or simply relax before continuing your adventure.
After arriving in Gozo, your guide will provide an introduction to the Ryker before leading the group across the island. The three-wheeled vehicles offer a comfortable and enjoyable way to explore, allowing you to focus on the scenery while following carefully selected routes through the countryside, villages and coastal areas.
As the afternoon transitions into evening, you'll visit a variety of viewpoints and landmarks while the island is bathed in warm golden light. Throughout the journey, your guide will share local stories and insights about Gozo's history and culture. The experience also includes a Mediterranean platter and the option of a cocktail or mocktail, creating a relaxed finish to an evening spent discovering the island.
Away from Malta's busier resort areas, Gozo offers a slower pace and a landscape filled with traditional villages, dramatic coastline and rolling countryside. Its compact size makes it possible to experience a wide variety of locations during a single tour, from elevated viewpoints to quieter rural roads.
Adding Comino to the itinerary creates an even broader island experience. Known for its clear waters and peaceful atmosphere, it provides a contrasting setting before the Ryker adventure begins, making this tour an excellent way to see two islands in one memorable outing.
Previous Ryker experience is not required, and the tour is suitable for first-time riders. A full briefing is provided before departure to ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident.
Participants should be able to follow guidance from the tour leader and enjoy travelling as part of a guided group. Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear are recommended.
More than twenty years of local experience allows the team to showcase Gozo from a perspective many visitors never see. Rather than focusing solely on the main tourist attractions, routes are carefully planned to include scenic roads, lesser-known viewpoints and places that reflect the island's character.
Guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Gozo and creating enjoyable experiences for guests from around the world. Combining Comino, sunset scenery, local hospitality and the unique experience of riding a Ryker results in a tour that stands apart from traditional sightseeing excursions.
Not at all. This experience is designed to be accessible to first-time riders as well as those who have used similar vehicles before. Before setting off, you'll receive a full introduction covering the controls, safety procedures and how the tour operates.
The Ryker is designed to be stable and easy to ride, making it an excellent option for guests who want something different from a standard sightseeing tour. Your guide remains with the group throughout the experience and is available to assist whenever needed.
Guests travelling from Malta will enjoy approximately two hours in Comino before heading to Gozo. This allows enough time to appreciate the island's unique atmosphere and enjoy some free time before the guided ride begins.
Many visitors use this opportunity to take photographs, enjoy the coastal scenery or simply relax by the water. The stop adds an extra dimension to the experience by combining two islands into one tour.
The evening timing creates a completely different atmosphere across the island. As the sun begins to lower, the landscape changes colour and many of the viewpoints become particularly photogenic.
Roads also tend to be quieter later in the day, allowing for a more relaxed touring experience. The combination of golden-hour lighting, cooler temperatures and coastal scenery creates an experience that many guests consider the highlight of their visit.
During the tour, guests are provided with a Mediterranean platter, offering a chance to relax and enjoy local flavours as part of the experience.
An optional cocktail or mocktail is also included. This provides a pleasant opportunity to unwind while taking in the surroundings before the return journey begins.
