Stepping aboard the Sparviero 700 from Amalfi offers a calm, unhurried way to see the coastline from the water. With a skipper handling the route, the day is shaped around swimming stops, coastal views, and time to relax on board or go ashore if you wish.
Meeting takes place at the agreed point in Amalfi, where you’ll be guided down to the harbour and introduced to your skipper for the day. After a short safety briefing, the boat heads out along the coast, with early views of cliffs, coves, and villages that are best appreciated from the water. The pace is relaxed, giving you time to settle in, choose shaded seating or sunbathing areas, and enjoy a drink as the coastline unfolds.
As the trip continues, the skipper will suggest suitable spots for swimming and snorkelling, conditions allowing. These quieter stretches of water are ideal for cooling off or floating alongside the boat before climbing back on board using the swim ladder. Towels and snorkel equipment are available, making it easy to enjoy the water without planning ahead.
Approaching Positano, you can decide whether to stay on board and admire the view or head ashore for free time to wander the streets, stop for a coffee, or take photos from land. The return journey back towards Amalfi is unhurried, giving a final chance to relax on deck, enjoy refreshments, and take in the coastline from a different angle before arriving back at the harbour.
Departure is from Amalfi, a central and easy-to-reach starting point along the coast. The harbour sits close to the town centre, making it simple to arrive on foot from nearby accommodation or public transport links.
From Amalfi, the route towards Positano passes dramatic cliff faces, small beaches, and fishing villages that are difficult to access by road. Travelling by boat allows you to see this stretch of coast without traffic or crowds, with the flexibility to stop where conditions and preferences allow.
This experience is suitable for a wide range of guests, including families and mixed-age groups. Children are welcome on board but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Guests should be able to step on and off the boat with minimal assistance. If you have any concerns about mobility or specific needs, it’s best to consider these in advance so the day can run comfortably.
Each trip is run with a focus on comfort, flexibility, and time on the water rather than sticking to a rigid schedule. Local skippers know the coastline well and adapt the day to sea conditions and guest preferences.
Private departures allow for quieter swimming spots, more space on board, and a more personal experience overall, making the journey as enjoyable as the destinations themselves.
Yes, this private experience follows a set route from Amalfi towards Positano and back. While the overall direction remains the same, the skipper can adjust the pace and swimming stops along the way based on conditions and preferences.
This balance keeps the day structured without feeling restrictive, allowing you to enjoy both the journey and the destination.
The day is designed to feel unhurried, with time divided between cruising, swimming, and relaxing on board. Swimming stops are included when conditions allow and are not limited to a strict schedule.
If you prefer more time in the water or a longer break on deck, the skipper can adjust the flow of the day accordingly.
On arrival near Positano, you can choose whether to go ashore or remain on the boat. Guests who disembark have free time to explore independently, without a guided programme.
Those who stay on board can enjoy views of the town from the water, making this stop flexible depending on how you’d like to spend your time.
The Sparviero 700 offers both shaded seating and open deck areas, allowing you to move between sun and shade during the day. This makes longer trips more comfortable, especially during warmer months.
Having different seating options also means everyone on board can find a spot that suits them, whether relaxing or enjoying the view.
A selection of drinks, including soft drinks, beer, prosecco, and limoncello, is available on board, along with a light snack. These are included so you don’t need to plan ahead for refreshments.
This setup allows the day to unfold naturally, with breaks for drinks and snacks between swims and cruising.
Yes, the focus is very much on balance rather than ticking off sights. Time is built in for swimming, resting on deck, and enjoying the boat itself, not just the coastline.
Many guests choose this option specifically for the slower pace, using the boat as a comfortable base for the day rather than rushing between locations.
