We partner with Rewilding Britain to help protect our natural spaces for future adventures.
All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.
Your group rides forest trails near Rovaniemi with a photographer on the outing, so you stay on the handlebars instead of stopping to take every shot yourself. After kit and a briefing you ride for around 1 hour 10 minutes, with pauses at scenic spots while someone else works the camera. We collect you from stays within 17 km of the city centre before we leave town.
Winter kit goes on at the office or after pickup, then you move to the snowmobile base for a few minutes on the controls until the group feels ready. The photographer joins the briefing so they know who is driving, who is riding behind, and where the first safe stop will be. Drivers show a physical Category B licence before anyone pulls away in a line onto snowy forest tracks.
Riding time is about 1 hour 10 minutes through pine stands and open winter ground, with several pauses where the photographer shoots the machines, the trail and your group while you keep gloves on and stay with the snowmobiles. Twin driving is the usual setup, so two licensed adults can swap the handlebars. When you return to the base you hand back overalls and helmets, and pickup guests go back to their stay inside the 17 km area.
Snowy forest just outside Rovaniemi sits on the Arctic Circle, where pine stands open onto wider winter ground and the light changes quickly in the short day. You are not far from the city, yet the trails feel away from traffic and hotel streets once the machines are moving.
Stops are chosen for the view and for space to park without blocking the trail. We collect you from hotels, apartments and holiday rentals within 17 km of the city centre, or you can start from the office on Kansankatu, then we return you the same way at the end.
Drivers must be 18 or over and carry a physical Category B car driving licence. Finnish law does not accept a phone photo or a digital copy, so bring the card itself. You do not need previous snowmobile time. The briefing covers how to start, stop, space out and follow the guide before the group leaves the base.
This outing is for adults. Children taller than 140 cm can ride as a passenger behind a licensed adult when they can hold on safely. Wear thermal base layers and warm socks under the kit we hand out. Tell us before the day if a medical condition could affect a safe ride.
Guides here mix Finnish and Spanish winter experience and have spent years leading snowmobile groups in Lapland, with briefings kept unhurried so first-timers feel settled before the forest. A dedicated photographer on the trail means you are not passing a phone around at every stop or asking a stranger to take the same three pictures.
Groups stay at eight or fewer so the guide can teach the controls and the photographer can work without a long convoy stacking up behind. The machines are current-generation snowmobiles prepared for Arctic cold. If you already ride well, there is still room to enjoy deeper snow without turning the session into a race.
We collect you within 17 km of Rovaniemi city centre or meet you at the office on Kansankatu, then get everyone into thermal kit. The photographer joins the briefing so they know the group and can plan the first stop before you reach the snowmobile base.
Your guide covers starting, braking, spacing and how we ride as a line. There is time to sit on the machine and ask questions. Drivers show a physical Category B licence here. Once the group feels ready, you head onto the forest trails.
You ride for around 1 hour 10 minutes through snowy forest and open winter country, with a few scenic pauses. The photographer works those stops so you can stay with the machines and still have pictures of the group, the light and the trail.
After the last stop we return to the base, hand back overalls and helmets, and sort how you receive the photographs. Pickup guests are taken back to their stay or another agreed point inside the 17 km area.
Yes. A photographer travels with the group and works at the scenic stops, so you can stay on the snowmobile instead of juggling gloves and a phone. The point is to come home with high-quality pictures of the ride, the forest and your group.
You still have time to look at the landscape yourself. The photographer is there so those moments are recorded without you having to step out of the experience every few minutes.
This tour is for adults. Children taller than 140 cm can come as passengers behind a licensed adult driver, provided they can hold on safely for the riding time. Younger children are better on a family safari with the heated sleigh.
Friends and couples often travel together on this format. Maximum group size is eight so the guide and photographer can stay close to every machine.
Riding time is around 1 hour 10 minutes. That can stretch or shorten a little with the group's driving skill and how long you linger at photo stops. Kit, briefing and transfers sit around that, so the whole outing is about 3 hours.
It is a compact session, which suits a short stay in Rovaniemi when you still want a proper ride and a set of photographs rather than a half-day expedition.
Anyone who drives needs a valid Category B car licence and must bring the physical card. A screenshot or wallet app is not accepted under Finnish traffic rules. Passengers do not need a licence.
If only one of you is licensed, that person drives and the other rides behind. Twin driving, with turns on the handlebars, is the usual setup when both of you can drive.
Thermal overalls, boots, gloves, a helmet and a balaclava are provided. Put warm base layers and thick socks underneath, because the outer kit is only as good as the insulation you wear beneath it.
Avoid cotton next to the skin if you can. A buff or spare gloves in a pocket help at the photo stops when you take a helmet off for a few minutes in the wind.
You can start at our office on Kansankatu in Rovaniemi, or we collect you from hotels, apartments and holiday rentals within 17 km of the city centre. Drop-off is included on the same radius.
Share your stay address ahead of the day. If you are outside that 17 km area, please make your own way to the office so the riding time does not disappear into a longer transfer.
Solo driving is offered as an extra and is arranged at the office before you leave. The standard setup is twin driving, with two people sharing a machine and swapping the controls.
If you want your own machine for the photographs as well as the ride, mention that when you arrive so we can match the fleet to the group.
The photographer's job on this outing is to capture the ride so you are not relying on hurried phone shots. How the files are sent, and whether extra editing is available, is confirmed with you on the day so you know what you are taking home.
Bring a way to receive files if you can, and keep your gloves handy at the stops so you can still enjoy the view while the photographer works.
Yes. The briefing is still given, because every group needs the same trail rules, but experienced drivers can settle in quickly and spend more of the 1 hour 10 minutes actually moving. Deeper snow and open ground are part of the route when conditions allow.
The photographer still works the stops, so a stronger rider is not wasting the session waiting for portraits. It is a good fit when your diary in Rovaniemi is tight and you want both a real ride and a record of it.
Your physical driving licence, if you intend to drive, is the one item we cannot replace. A small amount of cash or a card is useful if you want extras such as solo driving at the office.
Leave bulky camera bags at your stay unless you specifically want your own stills as well. The photographer is there so you do not have to carry a kit on the machine. Travel insurance that covers snowmobiling is strongly recommended.
