Mall of the Emirates hides a full indoor snow centre, so you can ski, snowboard or play in a snow park without leaving the city heat. Tickets include winter clothing and time on the indoor mountain, with extra slope hours or zipline rides on higher ticket types. Once you are inside, the visit is self-paced, so you can mix tubing, bumper cars and slope time to suit your group.
After you check in you collect a jacket, trousers and boots, then step into an 85-metre indoor peak with five slopes and a snow park. Classic tickets give unlimited park time plus a chairlift ride and an indoor mountain coaster run. Snow Plus adds two hours on the slopes for intermediate skiers and snowboarders, or two Snow Bullet zipline rides if you prefer that instead.
Snow Premium keeps the Plus extras and adds unlimited park rides, a 40-minute penguin encounter and a hot chocolate. Instructors can be arranged at the ski academy desk if you want coaching on the day. Families with younger children often spend most of their time in the park, then change and eat in the mall once hands and feet get cold.
The snow hall sits inside Mall of the Emirates in Al Barsha, on Sheikh Zayed Road. Metro and mall parking make arrival straightforward if you are making your own way, and the indoor setting means you leave desert heat at the door and walk straight into sub-zero air.
Around the mall you will find food courts, shops and the ski academy desks used for lessons and kit. Hotel pickup, when included on your ticket, collects you in Dubai and drops you at the mall entrance so you do not need to navigate Al Barsha traffic yourself.
Children from four years old are welcome on park tickets, and slope time on Snow Plus is aimed at intermediate level two skiers or snowboarders. You do not need prior snow experience for the park, tubing or bumper cars.
Bring a passport or photo ID, and wear socks plus a base layer under the issued winter kit. Glasses can fog in the cold, so a strap or contact lenses may be more practical, and a small bag for phones and dry clothes is useful after you leave the hall.
Hosts help you pick the right ticket type and, where you select it, a hotel transfer so you arrive with time to change and play. Support is available in several languages, and winter clothing is issued at the hall so you are not assembling kit yourself.
The indoor mountain runs in summer as well as winter, which makes this a reliable Dubai outing when the outdoor temperature is high. You leave with a clear choice between park play, extra slope time, or the penguin encounter on Premium, rather than a one-size visit.
