Watch Singapore shift from sunset glow to sparkling night lights on an easy-paced evening bike ride through Marina Bay, the riverfront and colourful Kampong Glam. Your local guide shares stories of the city's transformation as you pedal past iconic landmarks, pause for skyline photos and sit down to well-loved hawker favourites at Lau Pa Sat.
Meet in Kampong Glam, get fitted with a full-sized bike and helmet, then roll out as the day cools into evening. The route weaves through the Sports Hub and National Stadium area before opening onto wide waterfront paths where Marina Bay comes into view.
After sunset photos at Marina Barrage and a spin past Marina Bay Sands, you pause at Lau Pa Sat for a sit-down hawker food stop. The ride then continues through the CBD, along the Singapore River and through the Civic District before a final stretch back through glowing Kampong Glam streets.
Singapore's compact city centre makes this route unusually rewarding on two wheels. Within a few hours you move from the Malay-Arab heritage streets of Kampong Glam to futuristic Marina Bay, then into the colonial grandeur of the Civic District and the buzz of the financial core.
Waterfront paths, lit bridges and wide boulevards keep the pace relaxed while still delivering postcard views. Golden hour at Marina Barrage and the evening lights along the river give the ride a distinct mood you rarely get on a daytime bus tour.
You should be comfortable riding a standard bicycle on shared paths and quiet city streets for around three hours at an easy pace. The tour is not a fitness challenge, but you will pedal steadily with occasional stops for photos and stories.
Guests aged seven and above are welcome when they can confidently control a full-sized bike and are at least 1.3 metres tall. If anyone in your group is unsure about height or cycling confidence, ask the team before you book so they can advise.
Evening rides with a built-in hawker dinner turn sightseeing into a proper night out, not a rushed loop of the same photo spots. Local guides focus on the stories behind the skyline: how old quays became finance districts, why Kampong Glam still feels alive after dark, and what locals actually eat at Lau Pa Sat.
Small groups keep the pace social and the guide within earshot the whole way. Premium full-sized bikes, helmets and a curated food stop are included, so you arrive hungry for views and leave having tasted a slice of everyday Singapore.
Begin in the heart of Kampong Glam, where shophouses, cafés and the Sultan Mosque set the scene. Meet your local guide, collect your full-sized bike and helmet, and get a quick safety briefing before rolling out into the evening streets.
Pedal past Singapore's National Stadium and the lively Sports Hub district. Your guide explains how this former industrial waterfront grew into a world-class venue for sport, concerts and waterfront life.
Stop at Marina Barrage for wide-open views across Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay and the city skyline. This is one of the best photo moments on the tour, especially as the light softens toward sunset.
Continue along the Marina Bay waterfront with Marina Bay Sands in full view. The route follows scenic paths where modern architecture and the bay reflect the changing evening light.
Pause at Lau Pa Sat, one of Singapore's best-known hawker centres, housed in a historic market building. Sit down to local favourites that may include satay, Hainanese chicken rice, masala thosai, a bonus snack and teh tarik before remounting for the second half of the ride. The menu can change.
Cycle through the heart of the financial district, where restored shophouses sit beside gleaming towers. Your guide shares how Singapore grew from a trading port into a global business hub.
Follow the Singapore River past historic quays, bridges and restored warehouses. Hear stories of the traders and communities who shaped the city along these waters.
Ride through the Civic District, passing landmarks such as the National Gallery, Civilian War Memorial and the Raffles Hotel area. Your guide adds depth on colonial heritage, wartime memory and the city's modern identity.
Finish with a final stretch through Kampong Glam's colourful streets, glowing shopfronts and street art. It is a lively, atmospheric end to an evening that spans old neighbourhoods and new skylines.
Meet on Crawford Lane in the Kampong Glam area, near Lavender MRT. Exact meeting details are confirmed with your booking. Your guide will help with bike sizing before the ride starts.
Lavender MRT (East-West and Downtown lines) is the nearest station, roughly a five to ten minute walk. Taxis and ride-hail apps can drop you at Crawford Lane. Limited street parking is available nearby if you are driving; allow extra time in the evening.
