🗺️ What to Expect

After check-in, you’ll be fitted to the correct eBike and shown how to use the pedal-assist system. Assistance engages as you pedal, helping you manage hills and longer distances while keeping the ride controlled. Power levels can be adjusted depending on route choice and comfort.

Many riders begin along the waterfront, passing Fisherman’s Wharf and continuing towards the Palace of Fine Arts. From here, cycling through Crissy Field offers open views back towards the city and the Golden Gate Bridge.

With sufficient time, confident riders can cross the bridge using designated cycling access and continue into Sausalito before returning independently or by ferry if arranged separately. Alternatively, routes lead inland to Golden Gate Park, where long, flat paths allow relaxed riding past the Japanese Tea Garden and the California Academy of Sciences. A full-day hire makes it easy to combine multiple neighbourhoods and stop frequently without rushing.

📍 Location

San Francisco’s varied terrain makes electric bikes particularly useful, especially when linking waterfront areas with inland neighbourhoods. Starting points across the city provide access to different route styles, from coastal paths to park loops and urban streets.

Cycling allows you to experience the city’s scale and contrasts directly, moving between districts that feel very different but sit only a few miles apart.

✅ Prerequisites

All riders must be able to ride a bicycle independently and confidently. The minimum age to operate an eBike is 13, and riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

One government-issued photo ID is required and will be held as a deposit for the duration of the rental, with a credit card kept on file for bike security.

⭐ Why Choose Us

eBikes make San Francisco accessible to a wider range of riders by reducing the impact of hills and distance. Pedal assist allows you to focus on route choice and sightseeing rather than managing elevation.

With quality electric bikes, multiple start locations and flexible hire periods, this option gives you control over how much you see and how hard you ride. It’s a practical way to explore the city’s highlights without committing to a guided schedule.
