Takad Forest north of Agadir gives you shaded tracks and pine-scented air on a guided quad run away from the beach crowds. At around two hours this is a focused ride through woodland rather than a full desert safari, and we include transfer from your hotel.
Pine-scented air and dappled shade through Takad Forest create a riding atmosphere that beach-only quad outings never touch. The tracks twist between trees at a pace set by the guide, and the woodland feels cool and sheltered compared with the open Atlantic coast nearby. Dust kicks up on the tighter sections, but the forest setting gives the ride a greener, more varied character than a straight dune run.
Breaking out onto open sand at the beach finish brings a sudden shift of light and wind after the woodland cover. Moroccan tea at the end add a warm, unhurried close to the loop, and the contrast between forest and shore makes the four hours feel like two landscapes in one outing. Most riders step off the machines with dust on their clothes and a clear sense of how different inland Agadir feels from the hotel strip.
Takad Forest sits in the Agadir hinterland on Morocco's Atlantic side, with a beach finish rather than a desert-only loop. The forest tracks are shaded in places and dusty in others. The beach section depends on tide and wind, so the crew pick the line on the day. This is a machine outing through trees and sand, not a walking tour of the forest.
Collection covers hotels in the Agadir area. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given because traffic along the strip can slow the van. Distances between resorts mean pickup times can stretch. Wear closed shoes and clothes that can take dust for the transfer. The meeting point is hotel collection rather than a self-drive pin, unless you have arranged something else when you confirm.
No previous ATV experience is required. You should be happy on a small off-road machine for a dusty forest ride and a beach finish, including noise and a guided pace. Infant seats are available for the transfer, which does not mean a baby will drive a quad. Pets are allowed, so mention children, infants and animals when you confirm your place. The crew will advise who may ride and who may sit as a passenger if that option exists that day.
Wear closed shoes, long sleeves or a light layer, and sun protection. Bring a buff if you want to keep dust off your face. Eat before pickup because lunch is not included. You don't need your own machine. Follow the briefing on brakes, spacing and where you can stop. Say if you have never ridden a quad so they can keep you close to the guide.
The forest tracks and the beach finish sit on the same guided outing, with tea in the plan rather than a dry ride that ends at the first car park. Hotel collection keeps the four hours compact if you are staying in Agadir. A guide sets the pace, which is the point if you have never ridden an ATV and still want the trees and the sand in one loop.
If the weather or the tide is a poor match, the crew may delay or change the beach finish rather than forcing the line through a poor sea or a flooded track. You will be told as early as they can. That is a better outcome than sitting a machine in heavy rain with no tea stop. The same team handle collection, the ride and the return rather than leaving you to find Takad Forest alone.
We'll collect you from your Agadir hotel and takes you to the machines. Be ready in the pickup window in closed shoes and clothes that can take dust. Give your hotel name when you book so they can find the right gate.
After a short brief you follow a guide through Takad Forest. Stay in the line and match their spacing. Exact tracks change with the weather and with other groups.
The outing finishes with a beach ride as described, plus Moroccan tea . Eat before pickup if you want more than a tea stop. Collection then returns you toward your hotel.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Agadir area is part of this outing. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given because traffic along the strip can slow the van.
The length is about four hours, which covers the forest tracks, the beach finish, a drinks stop and the transfers. Arriving late at reception cuts into time on the quads because the group leaves together.
About four hours covers the forest ride, the beach section, drinks and hotel collection. Exact time on the machines depends on briefing, the group and the tracks that day.
Keep the rest of the morning or afternoon free so you are not rushing back. This is a forest-and-beach ATV outing, not a half-day on Sidi Toual Beach alone or a Tifnit sandboarding combo.
You ride through Takad Forest and finish along the beach, with drinks, Moroccan tea and local sweets as part of the outing. Exact tracks change with weather and other groups, so treat the line as a forest-to-beach loop rather than a fixed pin on a map.
You follow a guide. This is not a free-roam hire where you pick your own path. Stay in the line and match the pace they set for the group.
Share ages when you confirm your place. Infant seats are available for the hotel transfer, which does not mean a baby will drive a quad. The crew can advise who may ride and who may sit as a passenger if that is offered.
Say if you hope to bring an animal rather than arriving with one unannounced. A four-hour ATV outing is a long, dusty sit for a very young child even if they only watch.
No previous quad experience is required. You should be happy on a small off-road machine through forest tracks and along a beach, including dust, noise and a change of pace. A short brief comes before you ride.
Say if you have never ridden an ATV so they can keep you close to the guide. Follow their spacing. Do not overtake the lead machine. Helmets are the sensible choice for the whole ride.
Wear closed shoes, long sleeves or a light layer that can take dust, and sun protection. Shorts and flip-flops are a poor match for forest tracks and a beach finish. Bring a bandana or buff if you want to keep dust off your face.
Expect to get dusty and a little sandy. A dry bag keeps phones off the racks. You do not need your own quad. Ask about helmets and goggles when you confirm if you want to bring your own.
A sit-down lunch is not included. Moroccan tea is part of the outing. Eat before you leave the hotel if you want more than a tea stop.
Do not rely on a restaurant meal in the forest. Carry water if you want extra between pickup and return.
The group is from one to fifteen. You may share the ride with other guests unless your party fills the places. The guide sets the pace for the whole line.
Book for everyone who will ride. Mention if someone only wants to watch, because a seat in the transfer is not the same as a machine. Ask when you confirm how many people share a quad if you are booking children.
The ride needs a workable day for forest tracks and for the beach. Wind, rain or a very high tide can change the beach finish. If conditions are a poor match, the crew may delay or change the plan. You will be told as early as they can.
Have a loose plan for the rest of the day so a weather hold does not wreck the whole morning. Four hours still needs a clear window on the machines.
