Riding beyond the city, this two-hour quad biking experience combines open desert tracks with sandy terrain and rural scenery. Time on the quad is balanced with short pauses to take in the surroundings, making it an engaging way to experience the area without needing prior riding experience.
After being collected from your accommodation, the drive leads just outside the city where the quads are prepared and ready. A clear safety briefing follows, covering basic controls, riding posture, and what to expect on different surfaces. Before heading out, there’s time to practise on flatter ground so everyone can get comfortable with the quad.
Once the ride begins, the route opens into wide desert plains before gradually introducing sandy tracks and gentle dunes. Argan tree areas and quieter rural paths add variety, while the guide sets a steady pace and keeps the group together. Regular pauses are built in, allowing time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the changing scenery without feeling rushed.
Midway through the experience, riding pauses for a relaxed tea break. Traditional Moroccan tea is served while you take a breather and chat with the guide. The return journey follows a slightly different path, offering new views before finishing back at the starting point, with transport provided back to your accommodation.
Agadir sits along Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, known for its long shoreline and easy access to open landscapes just beyond the city. Within a short drive, urban roads give way to desert plains, sandy tracks, and scattered argan trees, creating ideal conditions for quad biking.
Routes used for this experience are chosen to showcase a mix of natural scenery and everyday rural life. Passing near small villages and quieter areas, the ride offers a sense of space and contrast while remaining close enough to the city for a smooth, time-efficient outing.
No previous quad biking experience is required, as full instruction is given before the ride starts. Confidence using hand controls and a willingness to spend time outdoors are the main requirements.
Comfortable clothing suited to warm, dusty conditions is recommended, along with closed shoes. Bringing sunscreen is advised, as much of the route is exposed to the sun.
Experiences are selected for their reliability, safety standards, and knowledgeable local guides who understand both the terrain and the pace needed for an enjoyable ride. Equipment is well maintained, and routes are planned to balance fun riding with responsible use of the landscape.
From booking to the end of the activity, everything is designed to run smoothly. Clear information, organised transport, and on-the-ground support allow guests to focus fully on the experience rather than the logistics.
Previous riding experience isn’t necessary, as the session begins with a safety briefing and clear guidance on how to control the quad. Time is set aside at the start to practise in a controlled area before heading onto the main route.
Guides stay with the group throughout the ride, offering reassurance and adjusting the pace when needed. This approach makes the experience suitable for first-time riders while still enjoyable for those with some experience.
Comfortable clothing that can get dusty works best, as sand and dirt are part of the ride. Long trousers and closed shoes are strongly recommended for protection and comfort.
Sunglasses and sunscreen are useful, particularly during warmer months. A light layer can also be helpful for earlier start times when temperatures may be cooler.
Pick-up and drop-off from accommodation in Agadir are included, removing the need to arrange transport independently. This helps keep the experience straightforward from start to finish.
Pick-up times are shared in advance so you know exactly when to be ready, with transport returning you directly to your accommodation after the ride.
Most of the two-hour session is spent riding, with time allocated for safety instructions and a tea break. The riding itself covers a variety of terrain to keep the experience engaging.
Short stops are built into the route to allow for rest and photos, ensuring the pace feels comfortable rather than rushed.
Routes are designed to be approachable, starting on flatter ground before moving onto sandier sections. This gradual progression helps build confidence early on.
Guides are attentive and supportive, ensuring riders feel comfortable before continuing. There’s no pressure to ride faster than you’re happy with.
Helmets are provided as part of the experience and must be worn throughout the ride. Each helmet is checked for fit before departure.
Wearing protective equipment is a key part of running the activity safely and responsibly.
