Ride from Fátima on a private e-bike toward Mira de Aire Caves, then continue through Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. The day is about underground time at the caves and park lanes on the bikes, not the Sanctuary circuit on the three-hour listing.
Fitting and a control check happen in Fátima before you leave town. You ride toward Mira de Aire for a visit to the caves, described as Portugal's largest. Named chambers inside are not promised here. Cave entry is not included, so allow time and a little cash or a card at the ticket desk. Closed-toe shoes with a decent sole matter once you are off the bikes, because cave floors can be damp and uneven.
The rest of the day is an exploration of Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park on the e-bikes, with the guide keeping a short private line together on park roads and lanes. You return toward Fátima after about seven hours. You do not share the bikes with other bookings, and this listing does not go to Batalha Monastery or Ourém Castle. See the itinerary for the shape of the outing. Eat breakfast and bring water. This is a long day even with a motor.
The outing begins in Fátima, then leaves the sanctuary town behind for park country and underground stone. You meet in Fátima. Make your own way there; that journey is not in the price.
From there the ride heads toward Mira de Aire and through Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park: limestone hills, park lanes, and a cave visit described as Portugal's largest. This is not the Lisbon riverfront, Sintra's palaces, or the three-hour sanctuary circuit. Cave floors can be damp once you are off the bikes, so the landscape above and below ground both ask for closed-toe shoes.
Every rider should be able to handle a bicycle for a long day on park lanes, including braking and riding in a short private line. The motor helps on rises. Attention at crossings still sits with you.
Height above 1.45 m is required for the frames. There is no numeric minimum age. Closed-toe shoes with a decent sole matter for both the bikes and damp cave floors. Mention health, confidence, or unease underground when you book so the briefing can be tailored.
A private cap of five keeps the convoy small enough for park lanes and for a guide who can match the day to your party. The fitting in Fátima is a proper control check before a seven-hour outing, not a rushed send-off, which matters on park roads and at the cave entrance.
This is the nature day in the set: Portugal's largest caves plus Serra de Aire e Candeeiros on e-bikes, with time that belongs to your household. You get fitted helmets, assistance on the lanes, and an honest split between what the booking covers and cave tickets you pay at the desk.
Plan for about seven hours from the fitting in Fátima to the return. That covers the ride toward Mira de Aire, time at the caves, and riding through Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park.
Live start times sit on the booking calendar. Eat breakfast and bring water. Seven hours is a long outing even with a motor. Cave entry is not included, so allow a little extra at the ticket desk.
Only your booked party rides. There is no mixing with other guests. The cap is five people, which matches the centre-wide maximum.
Solo travellers and pairs are welcome. If you have more than five, split across two private departures. Heights for every person should be sent after you reserve so frames are ready.
You meet in Fátima. Transport to the meeting point is not in the price.
Closed-toe shoes from the moment you arrive save time at the briefing. Give yourself a buffer if you are coming from another town.
The day includes a visit to Mira de Aire, Portugal's largest caves, plus riding in Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park.
Cave entry is not included. Bring a little cash or a card at the ticket desk. The guide gets you there and back on the bikes.
The price covers e-bikes, helmets, a dedicated guide, and the private format for up to five riders on an outing of about seven hours.
Cave entry, food, drinks, and insurance are extra. This is a nature and cave day rather than the Sanctuary circuit on the three-hour Fátima listing.
Frames fit riders taller than 1.45 m. There is no numeric minimum age. Anyone under 18 needs an adult on the same private booking. Share heights when you book so the right bikes are pulled.
Cave floors can be damp and uneven once you are off the bikes. Closed-toe shoes with a decent sole matter more on this listing than on a town-only circuit.
You should be able to handle a bicycle for a long day on park roads and lanes, including braking and riding in a short private line. The motor helps on rises. Attention at crossings still sits with you.
If someone in the party is uneasy underground, say so when you book. This listing does not invent a surface-only alternative.
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes with a decent sole are the basics. Skip flip-flops. A light layer helps in the park and if the cave air feels cool.
Carry water, sunscreen, and a small bag that stays put on your back. The team can flag rain kit the night before if the forecast looks wet.
Light rain is common in the natural park and the private ride usually still runs. Keep speeds modest on damp lanes, follow the guide's line, and use a waterproof so you stay comfortable outdoors.
Strong wind, storms, or standing water can make a seven-hour day a poor idea. In that case the team will contact you about moving the booking. Cave opening hours can also affect the day; the team will say if a date will not work.
Yes, within the five-rider cap and the 1.45 m height rule, with an adult on the booking for anyone under 18. A private slot lets the pace sit with your household on park lanes.
Caves can feel enclosed. If a child is uneasy underground, say so early rather than deciding at the entrance.

What a fantastic way to discover Lisbon! 🚲🇵🇹 We had a wonderful private e-bike ride from central Lisbon to Belém Tower with our guide, André, and it was one of the highlights of our visit. André was an absolutely charming guide — warm, knowledgeable and, most importantly, genuinely passionate about…
