Head out from Panglao on a private boat to look for dolphins, then spend time in the water on a snorkel stop. The boat is yours for the outing, so you set how long you stay with a pod and when you move to the reef. We collect you from your hotel, or you can meet us at Bohol South Beach Hotel.
Once the boat is clear of the beach, the crew starts looking for dolphin pods on the open water. Sightings are never promised, and the skipper will not chase an animal that turns away. When a pod is nearby, the boat holds a respectful distance so you can watch from the deck for as long as the animals stay in view.
A snorkel stop follows in clear water off Panglao. You go in from the boat, stay on the surface, and look at the reef and fish below you. If you would rather stay dry, you can sit on the deck while others swim. The outing ends when we drop you at the hotel or at the same beach meeting point.
Open water off the south-west corner of Bohol is where this outing runs, with a long fringe of reef beyond the hotels. The meeting pin is Bohol South Beach Hotel if you are making your own way. Most guests are collected from nearby rooms.
The dolphin search is on the sea, not on a river. The snorkel stop is chosen on the day for clarity and swell, so the exact patch of reef can change. You will still be in the Panglao area, not on a long transfer to another island.
Infants from 1 may come on the boat. Anyone who gets in the water should be able to float with a mask on, or hold onto a life ring if they are not confident. There is no certificate and no test.
Workable sea is required. If you are pregnant, get seasick easily, or cannot climb back onto a small boat, talk to us before you come. Shade on deck is limited, so a hat and water matter as much as swimwear.
Karl's crew runs private boat days off this coast, so the skipper can wait with a pod or move on when your group is ready. You are not sharing the deck with a second party that wants a different plan.
The host stays from pickup to the last drop-off. Briefings stay simple: where to sit, how we look for animals, and when it is safe to get in the water.
We collect you from your Panglao hotel, or you can meet us at Bohol South Beach Hotel, Panglao 6300. Be ready at the time we send after you book. The outing ends at the same hotel or beach pin.
No. We look for pods on the water off Panglao, but animals move with the tide and the light. The skipper will not chase a pod that turns away.
If the sea is quiet, you still have the boat time and the snorkel stop. We do not invent a second wildlife stop to fill the gap.
Yes. The boat is for your booking only. You decide how long you stay with a sighting and when you move to the snorkel stop.
That is the point of this outing. You are not sharing the deck with another group that wants a different clock.
We collect most guests from their Panglao hotel. If you prefer to make your own way, meet at Bohol South Beach Hotel, Panglao 6300. We will confirm which option applies after you book.
Be ready at the time we send. The same meeting point is used at the end of the six hours.
Children from 1 may come on the boat. They should sit with an adult on deck. Getting in the water is only for children who are happy with a mask or a life ring.
Tell us ages when you book so we can plan shade and seating. There is no cabin you should count on if a toddler needs a sleep.
You can stay on the boat for the whole outing if you prefer. Anyone who gets in the water should be able to float with a mask, or hold a life ring next to the hull.
There is no scuba and no deep dive. The snorkel stop is from the boat, on the surface, above the reef.
Wear swimwear under a light shirt and bring a towel. A hat and reef-safe sun cream matter on an open deck. Soft shoes help on a wet floor when you climb back in.
Leave heavy jewellery on shore. If you have your own mask, you can bring it; we will tell you on the day what the boat has out.
Plan for about six hours from pickup to drop-off. Time on the water depends on how long a pod stays in view and how long you want in the sea.
Because the boat is private, you can ask to come back earlier. Tell the skipper when you have had enough sun or enough swell.
This outing needs a workable sea. If the swell is unsafe, we will delay the start or move the day. Your safety on a small boat comes first.
Light chop is common and the skipper will pick a line that keeps the deck as steady as the water allows. Speak up early if you feel unwell.
Meals are not included. Bring water and a snack if you want something between the hotel and the last drop-off.
We can pause for you to eat what you brought on the deck. There is no sit-down restaurant stop built into the six hours.
The plan is dolphin watching and a snorkel stop off Panglao, not a set island-hopping circuit. The skipper chooses the snorkel patch for clarity that day.
If a sandbar is close and the timing works, you can ask. It is not a promised landing, and we do not sell it as a second tour.
