Eight guests plus the skipper fit on Magnifico, a Crownline E255 bow-rider with no cabin and an open bow where you can stretch out with your feet up. You'll choose a sunset, a half day or a longer run out of Marina El Portet, and the boat stays with your group. She's a sporty boat with versatile bow settees, a folding awning, Bluetooth, a vacuum-flush toilet and a freshwater shower, so bring a bottle if you are marking something.
Once lines are off, the bow settees are the place to sit with your feet up while we run toward a cove. You can also stay under the folding awning, put the Bluetooth speaker on if you want music, or move around the open bow once we ease off.
A half day is enough for a swim and a look at the first calas west of town. A full day lets you hold station longer off the headland before the return slot, and sunset keeps the boat pointed toward the last light so you can sit on the bow and watch it go. If you brought cava, wait until we are stopped before you open it.
Dénia old town and the castle ridge sit a few minutes from the berth. You park at the marina, walk onto Moll de la Pansa and board from the pontoon you will come back to, so friends waiting ashore know where to meet you.
Outside the breakwater the water opens toward Cabo de San Antonio and the coast that runs toward Xàbia. On a settled day you spend most of the charter in the coves rather than in transit, which is when the open bow really gets used.
Children and first-timers are welcome on a skippered day, with no prior boat time needed. Wear light clothing, bring sun cream, and say if anyone in the group is not a confident swimmer so we plan the stops and the seating on the open bow with that in mind.
Bareboat is open if you are 24 or over and hold an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent. Send the licence when you request the date, treat the helm as a real job because Magnifico is a planing motorboat, and bring the original with you on the day.
Open-bow seating is what this boat is built for. You get settees in the front, a folding awning when the sun is high, a toilet, a freshwater shower and Bluetooth already fitted, and you can bring a bottle of cava if you are celebrating.
We set the route around the forecast rather than a printed loop. You keep Magnifico to yourselves, we meet you at the office on the pontoon, and we finish at Portet in the hours you booked.
You meet at the charter office, confirm the hours and walk onto Magnifico. We cover the helm, the swim ladder and where to sit when the boat is on the plane, because the open bow is not the place to stand once we pick up speed.
Bags go under the seats. That keeps the open bow clear for getting on and off at the pontoon, and leaves the settees free once we are under way.
Once clear of Portet we set a line along the cliffs or into a cala that still has space. Stretch out on the bow settees, stay under the windshield, or jump in when the engine is off and use the freshwater shower when you climb back.
Longer bookings hold off the headland for lunch on board if you brought food. Shorter slots stay nearer town so you are not rushing the return, and sunset trips keep the bow pointed at the last light.
We come back into Marina El Portet on the booked time, you step onto the pontoon and we take care of the wash-down. Fuel is settled at the office after the hours you ran.
Sunset trips time that last stretch for the western sky. Daytime trips usually land inside the slot you booked, and the office is still there if you want another date.
Magnifico takes up to eight guests plus the skipper. You book the boat as one charter for the whole group, so a family or two couples can spread out on the open bow and the settees.
Nine people including the skipper is the maximum for this boat. Tell us the headcount when you request the date so we can plan seating on the bow and under the awning.
Magnifico has no cabin. The space that would sit behind a bulkhead is open seating in the bow, so you can stretch out and put your feet up while we run or sit still in a cove.
There is still a folding awning if you want shade, plus a toilet and a freshwater shower. Hard luggage stays in the car because there is no cabin to store it in, so a soft bag is enough for towels and a change of clothes.
You can, on the half-day option listed without a skipper, if the helm is 24 or over and holds an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent. Send the licence with your request so we can confirm that option before you travel.
Sunset includes a skipper. If you want a skipper on a longer day, pick the skippered half-day or the eight-hour option and we will confirm the crew when we accept.
You are welcome to bring a bottle of cava or whatever you want to drink. Food and drinks are not part of the charter, so pack what you would like on board and keep glass in a bag until we are stopped.
Tell us if you are marking a birthday or similar so we know how you want the day to feel. The open bow is a good place to sit with a drink once the engine is off.
Morning half days are 09:00 to 13:00 and afternoon half days are 14:00 to 18:00. Full days are 09:00 to 17:00 or 10:00 to 18:00, and sunset is 19:00 to 21:30.
We lock the slot when we accept the request. Extra hours can be added if the berth plan still has room, so ask when you book if you want to stay out a little longer.
Fuel sits outside the charter. You settle what the boat uses on your hours after you come back alongside.
A short half day close to Dénia uses less than a full day that holds off the cape. Ask when you book if you have a longer track in mind so we can talk through how that affects fuel.
Children can join a skippered charter when an adult is with them. Tell us ages when you request the date so we plan swim stops and seating on the open bow, and say if anyone is not a confident swimmer.
We treat each group as it comes. Bareboat still needs a licensed helm of 24 or over, so the person at the wheel has to meet that rule even if children are on board.
Bring swimwear, towels, sun cream, a hat and sunglasses. A soft bag is enough for phones and a change of clothes, and hard cases stay in the car because there is no cabin.
If you are helm yourself, bring the licence. Soft drinks, snacks and any bottle you want to share are down to you, and deck shoes that come off easily are more useful than boots.
Yes, if we are happy with the sea state and the stop still has room. A longer booking gives you more time to sit still once you find a cala you like, with the bow settees and the awning already there.
Shorter slots stay nearer town so you are not rushing the return. Tell us how you want the day to feel when you request the date, and we will plan the run around that.
We stay in harbour if wind or swell makes a motorboat a poor idea. That call is made on the morning, not from a phone forecast alone.
If we cancel, we will look for another slot that still works for you. Message us early if the outlook is already poor the night before so we can hold a spare.

About the centre
Dénia
You'll meet at the charter office on Moll de la Pansa in Marina El Portet, Dénia, then head out along the Costa Blanca towards the coves and the lighthouse at Cabo de San Antonio. Days run from a two-hour sunset to a half day or a full day, with a skipper included when you want one.
Gennaro and the crew keep groups to one boat, with kit already on board so you can swim, sit on deck or follow the coastline without packing extra gear. If you hold an RYA level 2, PER or equivalent and you are 24 or over, you can take a boat without a skipper. Routes follow the weather, and you come back to the same pontoon at the end of the session.
