Getting around San Sebastián on two wheels is one of the easiest ways to cover more ground and see the variety of the area. With a selection of well-maintained bikes, you can choose a setup that suits coastal cruising, inland climbs, or relaxed city riding. Everything is organised to keep things simple from the moment you arrive.
Each bike type is designed for a different style of riding, giving you flexibility depending on how you want to explore the area.
Set in the centre of San Sebastián, the collection point gives you immediate access to a wide mix of cycling routes. From here, it’s easy to reach the coastline for open sea views or head inland where the terrain becomes quieter and more varied. The area is well suited to both relaxed rides and more active cycling depending on your plans.
The surrounding neighbourhood has plenty of useful stops along the way, including cafés, local shops, and viewpoints that work well for short breaks. Whether you’re planning a quick ride or a full day out, the location makes it easy to build a route that suits your style and pace.
You should be comfortable riding a bike independently and confident handling it on roads or designated cycle paths. No advanced cycling experience is required, but basic control and awareness are important for safety and enjoyment.
For routes that include longer distances or hills, a reasonable level of fitness will help you get more out of the experience. If you prefer an easier ride, choosing an e-bike can reduce effort and make longer routes more accessible.
