You'll spend a full day on the Alanya coast that opens with a tandem paraglide above Cleopatra Beach and continues with castle and Red Tower photo stops. A licensed pilot flies with you, so you enjoy the air time as a passenger rather than as a student on a solo wing. After landing, free time on the beach gives you room to swim or add optional local visits before the sightseeing loop begins. The afternoon climbs to the castle walls and the Red Tower, then closes with pancake, pastry and Turkish tea. The coastal drive from the Belek area is part of the arc, so the day feels like flight, beach and peninsula rather than a short hop alone.
After we collect you from the Belek area, the coastal drive towards Alanya takes about two hours before you reach the hillside. Once you arrive at the Cleopatra Beach take-off, your licensed pilot briefs you on the harness and the run before you leave the ground together. You fly tandem over the harbour and cliffs as a passenger rather than handling the wing yourself. Landing is followed by about an hour of free time on Cleopatra Beach, where swimming is the straightforward option if you want to cool down. Cable car rides towards the castle and visits to Damlataş Cave are optional extras settled locally if you want them during that free hour.
From there our vehicle climbs to Alanya Castle for photos at the walls and mosque, then continues to the Red Tower before a lighter finish with pancake, pastry and Turkish tea. We also a restaurant stop on the same sightseeing loop. After those pauses we return you to your hotel by the same coastal road. The day covers the road, the flight, beach time and the castle route rather than long hours in the air alone. We confirm pickup and return times closer to the day, because hotel location on the Belek strip changes how early the vehicle needs to leave.
Cleopatra Beach lies on the west side of the Alanya peninsula, under the castle rock and close to the harbour. The tandem site uses that hillside so the flight looks out over the same water you later walk beside during free time. After landing you stay in the same coastal setting for the beach hour, then move uphill by vehicle for the castle and Red Tower stops. That mix of hillside take-off, beach free time and peninsula sightseeing is what shapes the day after the Belek transfer.
We collect you from hotels in the Belek area for the coastal drive to Alanya, so you do not need to arrange that long road yourself. We drop you back at the hotel after the castle loop. We confirm your pickup and return times closer to the day because the road time forms a large part of the schedule. Pack a day bag that works for both the hill briefing and the beach hour, including closed shoes and swim kit.
You need to be willing to fly as a tandem passenger. No paragliding licence is required for the hill briefing, because your pilot handles the wing. Closed-toe shoes and clothes that work under a harness are more useful than beachwear alone at take-off. Swim kit is still worth packing for the free hour after landing if you want time in the sea.
If heights make you uneasy, tell us before the day rather than waiting until you are on the hillside. Infants on laps refer to the hotel transfer rather than the flight itself. Soft jewellery and loose hats are better left in the hotel, and a light layer helps on the hill even when the beach feels warm. Anyone unsure about tandem flying should raise it with us in advance so we can plan the briefing honestly.
We pair a short tandem flight with the castle peninsula on the same day, and licensed pilots run the hill briefing so you are not left guessing how the harness and run work. Our vehicle keeps the castle and Red Tower stops after you land, rather than leaving you to piece the afternoon together yourself. The Belek-area hotel transfer is built in, which matters when the coastal drive alone takes about two hours each way.
We confirm your pickup and return times closer to the day so you know when the vehicle will arrive. Cable car and cave entries stay optional, which means you can keep the free hour simple if you would rather swim at Cleopatra Beach. The food finish with pancake, pastry and tea closes the sightseeing loop without turning the day into a long restaurant booking. You get a clear sequence from transfer to flight to beach to castle, with us handling the road and the schedule.
Our hotel vehicle collects you from the Belek area for the coastal drive towards Alanya, which takes about two hours. Keep swim kit in your day bag for the beach hour after landing, and wear closed shoes you can use on the hillside. We confirm the collection window closer to the day because hotel location on the strip changes how early the vehicle needs to leave.
At the Cleopatra Beach take-off a licensed pilot briefs you and you fly tandem for about 15 to 20 minutes. You are a passenger on the wing, not a student on a solo glider. Wear closed shoes you can run in on the hill, and keep a light layer handy because takeoff is often cooler than the beach.
About an hour of free time follows on Cleopatra Beach. Swim, or visit the cable car or Damlataş Cave as optional extras settled locally if you want them. Be back at the vehicle at the time your guide sets, because the castle loop still follows this free hour.
Our vehicle goes up to Alanya Castle for photos at the walls and mosque, then continues to the Red Tower. Pancake, pastry and tea close the day, and we also visit a restaurant, before the drive back to your hotel. Keep water with you for the road, especially in summer heat.
The tandem flight itself lasts about 15 to 20 minutes with a licensed pilot above Cleopatra Beach. You fly as a passenger, so you do not need a paragliding licence or previous air-sport time. Your pilot handles the wing while you enjoy the view over the harbour and cliffs.
The rest of your day with us covers the coastal transfer from the Belek area, free time on the beach, and vehicle photo stops at the castle and Red Tower. Wear closed shoes you can walk in after landing on the hill. Soft kit for flying and swim kit for later make the long day more comfortable.
The minimum age is 7 for this tandem flight. Infants may sit on laps during the hotel transfer, but the flight itself is not a baby activity and the tandem harness is sized for the passenger who actually flies.
Anyone unsure about flying as a tandem passenger should raise it with us in advance rather than waiting until takeoff. Closed shoes and clothes you can sit in a harness with still matter for every flyer.
We collect you by hotel vehicle from the Belek area, with a coastal drive of about two hours towards Alanya before the flight. We return you to your hotel at the end of the castle loop. That long transfer is why the whole day runs to about eight and a half hours.
We confirm your pickup and return times closer to the day, because hotel location on the Belek strip changes how early the vehicle needs to leave. Keep swim kit in your day bag for the beach hour after landing. A light layer for the hill is useful even when the beach feels warm.
After the flight you have about an hour of free time at Cleopatra Beach. You can swim, take the cable car towards the castle as an optional extra, or visit Damlataş Cave if you want a short indoor stop. Your guide will set a clear meeting time for the vehicle before that free hour begins.
Cave and cable-car tickets are settled locally rather than prepaid with us. Bring a small amount of cash if you want them, and keep an eye on the meeting time so the castle loop can start on schedule. Swimming on the beach is the simplest way to use the hour if you prefer not to add extras.
After the beach hour the vehicle climbs to Alanya Castle for a photo stop at the walls and mosque, then continues to the Red Tower. A pancake, a savoury pastry and Turkish tea close the day, and we also visit a restaurant. Expect that food as a light stop rather than a long formal lunch unless we confirm something larger on the day.
Write dietary needs in the notes so we can pass them on to the crew. The castle and tower stops are photo pauses from the vehicle route, not long guided museum visits. Keep water with you for the road, especially in summer.
The day lasts 8 hours 30 minutes, covering the coastal drive, the tandem flight, beach time and the castle loop. That duration is not eight and a half hours in the air, because the flight itself is about 15 to 20 minutes. Most of your time is transfer, free time and sightseeing after you land.
Pickup times vary with hotel location on the Belek strip. We confirm your pickup and return times closer to the day so you can plan around the long coastal drive. Bring a day bag that works for both the hill briefing and the beach hour.
Paragliding needs workable wind on the Cleopatra Beach hillside. If the hill is closed, we will tell you about what can still run, and the city stops may still go ahead once we confirm that with you. Your safety on the hill comes before forcing a flight in the wrong conditions.
Wear a layer for takeoff anyway, because the hillside is often cooler than the beach even when the wing can fly. Closed shoes still help on the slope after a landing. Soft clothes you can harness into are more useful than beachwear alone at the briefing.
Wear clothes you can fly in and walk in: shorts or light trousers, a secure top, and trainers for the hill briefing. Bring swimwear and a towel if you want time in the sea at Cleopatra Beach after landing. Sunglasses with a strap help in the air above the harbour.
Leave loose hats and dangling jewellery in the hotel, and pack sunscreen and water for the castle road in summer. A light layer for the hill keeps you comfortable before takeoff. Keep valuables you cannot watch in a small secure bag rather than loose pockets.
The day is easy-rated, and you still need to be happy being strapped to a pilot and leaving the hill on a tandem wing. You are a passenger for 15 to 20 minutes, not a student on a solo glider. No licence is required for the hill briefing.
If heights make you uneasy, say so before the briefing on the hill. This day is for people who intend to fly unless our crew decide otherwise once you are on site. Closed shoes and harness-friendly clothes remain the practical kit either way.
We confirm your pickup and return times closer to the day from the Belek area. If you need a later collection, put it in the notes so the driver can plan. Hotel location on the strip changes how early the vehicle needs to leave.
Tell us before you travel if anyone in your group is unsure about flying as a tandem passenger, so we can plan the briefing with you. Keep swim kit packed for the beach hour after landing, and wear closed shoes for the hillside.
