Looking to get out on the water at your own pace? Hire a paddleboard and enjoy a session on Loch Brora, perfect for a relaxed paddle or a bit of exploring. Equipment is provided, and you'll get a briefing on the area and conditions before heading off. At the end of your hire, we'll collect everything, making it an easy and hassle-free experience. Please note we are a mobile company, there is no physical centre.
After meeting at Loch Brora, you'll be handed your paddleboard and given a quick but thorough briefing on the equipment, weather, and local conditions. This ensures you feel confident before heading out onto the water. If you're new to paddleboarding, we recommend a lesson first, but the hire option is great for those comfortable giving it a go on their own.
Loch Brora provides a peaceful setting with calm waters, making it an ideal spot to explore at your own pace. You can paddle along the shoreline, enjoy the views, or simply relax on the water. As there are no changing facilities or toilets at the loch, it's best to come prepared. Suitable footwear, such as trainers or sliders, is advised for getting in and out of the water comfortably.
Wetsuits are available for hire separately, with sizes ranging from kids aged 6 to men's XXXL and women's size 26. If you'd like to add a wetsuit or extra buoyancy aids to your booking, simply do so through our 'Equipment Hire' section when reserving your board.
Loch Brora is a quiet and scenic spot, offering a fantastic setting for paddleboarding. Nestled in the Highlands, it's surrounded by beautiful landscapes and provides a peaceful escape on the water.
The loch’s calm conditions make it suitable for all experience levels, whether you're exploring on your own or paddling with friends and family.
Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to manage their own paddleboard. While no experience is required, those unfamiliar with paddleboarding may find a lesson helpful before hiring.
Children must be supervised by an adult.
