Stand up paddleboarding is one of the most relaxing ways to explore Mallorca's coastline. Combining gentle exercise with coastal exploration, paddle boarding allows you to glide across clear Mediterranean waters while enjoying views of the shoreline, hidden coves, and marine environments at your own pace.
Arriving 15 minutes before your booking allows time to prepare equipment and receive a short introduction before heading out onto the water. Even if you've never tried paddle boarding before, the stable boards and basic guidance provided make it easy to get started.
Before departure, staff will explain recommended routes based on your rental duration and current sea conditions. Shorter routes allow you to explore nearby bays and coastline, while longer hires provide opportunities to travel further along Mallorca's southwest coast and discover more secluded areas.
Paddling independently gives you complete freedom to travel at your own pace, stop for a swim, take photographs, or simply enjoy the surroundings. The area's calm waters and excellent visibility often allow you to see the seabed below as you paddle along the coast.
Santa Ponça is one of Mallorca's most popular paddle boarding locations thanks to its sheltered bay and easy access to the surrounding coastline. Calm conditions are frequently found close to shore, creating ideal conditions for both beginners and experienced paddlers.
Those looking to venture further may explore sections of coastline leading towards Cala Fornells, Cap Andritxol, or the waters surrounding the El Toro Marine Reserve. Clear water, rocky coves, and Mediterranean scenery make this area particularly rewarding to explore from a paddle board.
Participants should be comfortable around water and have basic swimming ability.
No previous paddle boarding experience is required, making this activity suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.
