What to Expect
This session begins with a briefing where you'll meet your instructor, Scott, and learn about the climbing environment. After a brief warm-up, you’ll get the opportunity to try climbing on real rock, using basic techniques to move effectively and safely. Scott will provide you with the tools to succeed, teaching you how to use the ropes for belaying and abseiling. You'll have plenty of time to practice, with guidance to help build your confidence. By the end of the session, you’ll have experienced the excitement of outdoor climbing, with skills you can take into future climbs.
