Ride a three-day dirt bike loop from El Nido down the east coast and back along the west, sleeping two nights on the beach. Distances add up to about 500 km of mixed trail, tarmac and sand, with a guide and a support vehicle on the route. Meals are organised throughout, and you finish with dinner back at the garage cafe in El Nido.
You'll leave El Nido and ride south through the east-coast secondary roads of Taytay and Roxas, cross to Port Barton, then climb back north along the west coast through San Vicente. The three days cover roughly 500 km of coastal roads, mountain trails, forest paths and beach riding, with river crossings, single track, hanging bridges and a stop on San Vicente's 14 km Long Beach.
Each day is a full riding day. We brief you at the garage, then you follow an experienced guide while a support vehicle moves your bags. Evenings are at a beachfront homestay and a beach resort we have already booked, and we may adjust the exact line if weather or the group's comfort asks for it, while keeping an equivalent day on the bike.
Northern Palawan sits between limestone islands, mangrove creeks and long west-coast beaches that most visitors only see from a boat. El Nido is the usual starting town, with Lio Estate a short ride from the beaches and the airport road. From there the loop threads fishing villages, rice paddies in Dewil Valley, the older streets of Taytay, and quieter stretches toward Dumaran and Roxas.
Port Barton is a small coastal town on the west side of the island, useful as a halfway night after the coast-to-coast crossing. San Vicente opens onto the Sulu Sea and the long white sand of Long Beach before the fire trails and winding roads bring you back toward El Nido, Bebeladan and Lio Beach. You finish the riding near the water, then return to the garage cafe for the last meal of the trip.
Night one is a beachfront homestay after the El Nido loop, once you have ridden south along the east coast to Sader Beach. It is a simple coastal stay after eight to nine hours on mixed dirt and tarmac, with dinner included so you can wash off the dust and sleep close to the water.
Night two is a beach resort in Port Barton after the longer coast-to-coast day. You roll in toward sunset, leave the bags with the support vehicle, and have the evening in town. The third night is not on the road. You ride back to El Nido, finish at Lio Beach, then sit down to dinner and drinks at the garage cafe.
This loop is aimed at intermediate and advanced riders who are already comfortable on a dirt bike for long days. Distances run from about 150 km to 200 km a day, with a large share of that on dirt, so you should be happy standing on the pegs, crossing loose ground, and staying focused for seven to nine hours in the saddle including stops.
You do not need to bring a full kit. We can supply a helmet, boots, gloves, knee pads and goggles, though your own gear will usually fit better if you already ride. Pack light on the bike itself. The support vehicle carries the rest of your bags, and a small day bag plus a hydration pack will keep you cooler on hot Philippine days.
Our team has been riding these Palawan roads for more than a decade, so the route is a working loop rather than a guess from a map. You get a guide on the trail, a mechanic and support driver with the group, and bikes we maintain for this kind of dirt, not a road scooter pressed into service.
Nights are at stays we have already used on this circuit, meals are organised so you can eat and rest, and we film the ride so you leave with footage as well as the kilometres. When weather or the group needs a change, we reshape the day without turning it into an unstructured wander.
Breakfast and a short briefing at the garage start the first day, then you ride a northern El Nido loop of about 150 km, with around 65 km of that on dirt. The line takes you along the coast to Duli Beach, through technical trails toward Teneguiban, then across Sibaltan Beach and up to viewpoints over mangrove forest.
Forest trails and riverbeds lead into Dewil Valley, where rice paddies sit under limestone cliffs. You continue along the southeast coast, pause at the abandoned airstrip in Sandoval, and follow Taytay's dirt roads before arriving at Sader Beach. Expect eight to nine hours on the bike, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included, and a beachfront homestay for the night.
An early start sends you southwest along Dumaran's coastal roads for the longest day, around 200 km with about 90 km of dirt. Bikes go onto small fishing boats to cross a large river, then you ride a 4 km stretch of beach before climbing into the jungle trails of Roxas and crossing a hanging bridge.
The afternoon cuts west across the island through more demanding trail, with a look at rural Palawan villages along the way. You reach Port Barton toward sunset, check into a beach resort, and have dinner included. The evening is yours in town after eight to nine hours of riding.
The last day turns north along the west coast above the Sulu Sea for about 150 km, with around 80 km of dirt and a shorter seven-hour riding day. You ride toward San Vicente, stop at the Bato ni Ningning viewpoint, and drop onto the 14 km of white sand at Long Beach.
Fire trails and winding roads through Abongan bring you back toward El Nido. Bebeladan's trails open views over Bacuit Bay and Snake Island before you finish at Lio Beach in time for sunset. Dinner and drinks at the garage cafe close the loop.

This loop is built for intermediate and advanced riders who already spend long days on a dirt bike. You will cover 150 km to 200 km a day, with a large share of dirt, beach, riverbed and forest trail, so you should be steady on loose ground and happy standing on the pegs.
If you are still learning the clutch or have only ridden on tarmac, this is not the right first trip. We can reshape small parts of the line to suit the group's comfort, but the days stay long and the terrain stays mixed.
Plan on about 150 km on day one, 200 km on day two, and 150 km on day three, which adds up to roughly 500 km for the loop. A good portion of each day is dirt or off-road, and the clock time is eight to nine hours on the first two days and about seven hours on the last.
Stops for food, viewpoints and the river crossing are built into that time. The support vehicle shadows the group, so you are not also managing bags while you ride.
Honda CRF 150L and Honda CRF 300L dirt bikes are the machines on this trip. You choose the model when you book, and both are set up for the mixed dirt, beach and trail you will see between El Nido, Port Barton and San Vicente.
We maintain the bikes for this kind of riding. If you are heavier or taller, say so when you book so we can point you toward the CRF 300L when that is the better fit.
Meet at Kalye Artisano, Lio Estate, Villa Libertad, El Nido, 5313. That is the garage briefing point at the start of day one, and it is also where the last dinner is served once you have rolled back into El Nido.
You make your own way to El Nido. Flights, vans and boats into town are not part of the trip, and there is no airport pickup on this loop, so build in time to reach Lio Estate before the morning briefing.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included on all three days, including the meal at the garage cafe when you finish. Night one is a beachfront homestay after Sader Beach, and night two is a beach resort in Port Barton.
You do not stay out on a third hotel night. The last afternoon brings you back to Lio Beach and then to the garage, so arrange your El Nido room for that evening if you are not flying out straight away.
Helmet, boots, gloves, knee pads and goggles are available if you travel light. Riders who already own kit usually bring it, because a familiar helmet and boots are more comfortable over three long days.
Keep the load on the bike small. A hydration pack and a compact bag for water, a layer and sun cream are enough on the machine, while the support vehicle carries the rest of your luggage between stays.
Groups run from one rider up to six. That keeps the pace workable on single track, river crossings and the narrower village roads, and it leaves room for the guide to watch how everyone is riding.
Solo riders are welcome. If you are booking with friends, tell us how many of you are riding so we can hold bikes and rooms on the same dates.
Rain and surface changes are part of riding Palawan, so we treat the written line as a plan rather than a promise. If a river is too high or a trail is washed out, we move to an equivalent stretch that still gives you a full day on dirt and coast.
The trip still runs in mixed weather more often than it is cancelled. Pack a light layer you can ride in when showers pass through, and expect the schedule to flex around the group's comfort as well as the sky.
Yes, within reason, because the support vehicle carries your main bags for the whole loop. You do not need to strap a full suitcase to the bike, and you should not, because extra weight on the machine makes long dirt days harder and shifts the balance.
Bring a small bag for the things you want while riding: water, a layer, sun cream and any medicine. Leave the rest with the support driver at the start of each day.
Yes. A support vehicle travels with the group for the whole loop, with a mechanic and support driver on board. Your main bags move between stays in that vehicle, so you ride with as little as possible on the bike.
We also film the ride, so you leave with footage as well as the kilometres. Keep a small day bag and a hydration pack on the machine for water, a layer and anything you want during the day.

El Nido
We'll take you off the beaten path on Palawan, from our home base in El Nido near the northern tip of the island down through Port Barton, San Vicente, and the trails most visitors never reach. Whether you're just learning the clutch or you've been riding for years, we shape the day around your level so you can focus on the views, the beaches, and the jungle tracks.
Our team has been exploring these roads for over a decade. You'll ride well-maintained dirt bikes with an experienced guide, and on multi-day trips a mechanic and support driver stay with the group. Evenings are at comfortable stays we've already scouted, and you can unwind with locally roasted coffee at the cafe when you're back in El Nido.
