Take your climbing further with a multi-pitch experience that brings together progression, focus, and time on longer routes. Each climb builds steadily, giving you a real sense of movement up the wall rather than just a single route. It’s a rewarding way to see a different side of the island while developing your climbing.
Starting the day, you’ll meet your guide and head to a carefully selected climbing area, usually around Bunyola, known for its longer routes and solid limestone. After a briefing and equipment check, you’ll begin your ascent, climbing one pitch at a time with breaks at belay stations. Each section gives you a chance to reset, take in the views, and prepare for the next part of the climb.
As you move higher, the experience becomes more immersive. Beginners will be guided closely through each stage, learning how multi-pitch climbing works in a clear and supportive way. If you already have experience, the day can focus more on refining your technique, improving efficiency, and taking on longer or more technical routes.
Reaching the top brings a real sense of achievement, with wide views across the surrounding landscape. After taking some time to enjoy the summit, you’ll descend safely with your guide, rounding off a full day that combines physical effort, learning, and time spent in a unique setting.
Climbing typically takes place in the Bunyola area, which offers access to some of the island’s best multi-pitch routes. The rock quality is reliable, and the routes provide a mix of difficulty levels, making it suitable for both those new to longer climbs and those with more experience.
Conditions play an important role in choosing the exact route. Depending on weather and group preferences, the location may vary slightly to ensure the best possible climbing experience on the day.
A basic level of fitness is recommended, as multi-pitch climbing involves longer periods of activity and time spent at height. No prior multi-pitch experience is required, as everything can be explained and supported throughout the day.
If you already climb, this experience is a great way to progress into longer routes. The session can be adapted to match your ability, allowing you to build confidence and develop new skills at a steady pace.

No prior multi-pitch experience is required to take part. Beginners are guided through every step, including how the system works and what to expect as you move between pitches.
For those with climbing experience, this is a great next step. The session can be adjusted to focus more on technique, efficiency, and tackling longer or more complex routes.
The duration depends on the route you choose, typically lasting between 5 and 7 hours. This includes climbing, rest periods, and the descent.
Longer routes naturally take more time, but the pace is always adapted to suit you. There is no rush, and the day is structured to keep things manageable and enjoyable.
Multi-pitch climbing is more demanding than single-pitch climbing, mainly due to the length of time spent on the wall and the overall height gained.
That said, routes are chosen based on your level. Beginners can take on easier climbs, while experienced climbers can push themselves further if they wish.
